We had a group of six family members in town to attend a Bills game. The house was comfortable and had plenty of space for all of us. Communication with Linda, the host, was great. Quiet neighborhood with off street parking. Great stay.
The location was great for our family reunion. The house layout worked well for our family with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. We enjoyed the grill on the back porch. If we're ever back in North Buffalo we'll stay again.
This house is a typical North Buffalo home and I mean this is a very positive way. My family grew up in a very similar North Buffalo home. Many of my family members stayed at this home and hosted Thanksgiving there. Other family members came for just Thanksgiving Day. Some of the comments made were: it was familiar, comfortable, just like being at Grandma’s house, cozy, was conducive for prep and cooking of the meal, felt that this was where we were meant to be. The driveway space was ample, the listing was very accurate as far as space, amenities. Linda and her husband were extremely responsive to a few questions/comments we had. The house was well stocked with all essentials. All in all, we had a great experience!
Perfect for entire extended family. Easy access and parking. Lots of space to congregate and visit with each other!
Host was very communicative and helpful.
This house was very accommodating to six adults. Cozy clean and warm. Owners communicated promptly and the location was great! Walked to some cool bars and restaurants. Would recommend and stay again if back in town. Thanks you
The house was spacious for me and my family to stay for our reunion!
Communication was impeccable! They went above and beyond for us. The grill was out of propane and they replied to my text and were at the door hooking up a new tank for us within 10 minutes! My nephew left something behind and they set it aside for us to retrieve after we had already left. Great stay! We would come again.
My daughter graduated from UB and we needed a place to stay that would fit our family. This house was perfect. Bedrooms downstairs for my family that couldn’t handle stairs. Upstairs rooms were great for the rest of us. The living rooms had comfy furniture for us to gather. Kitchens had what we needed for meals. The grill worked great for our bbq. Location was nice too. Not too far from south or north campus, downtown and Niagara Falls. Linda, our host, was very communicative and even offered to install the AC since it was unusually hot. Plenty of parking in the driveway. Definitely recommend the whole house for a large group or either of the apartments if you don’t have too many people. House was clean, linens were plentiful and beds were comfy.

Interesting
Property had plenty of driveway for parking. The bedrooms were well made up. One bed needed a box spring. Property manager answered the phone immediately when called. Coffee pots were broken but replaced immediately. Washer was out in the hallway, not very clean. There was a gas leak and we were asked if it were “manageable”, like we were going to sleep with gas leaking. My husband was asked not to call the manager’s wife but the manager responded. The gas company came to fix it. There was a housing permit on the wall that was 2 years expired. There was a note to remove your shoes as you came in to keep the shiny floors. Wearing white socks, they were filthy from the shiny floor plus there were nails coming up through the wood which snagged our socks. There were no instructions to the TV operation. There was a hole in the wall of which the property manager was not aware. There was a playhouse and slide in the backyard for toddlers that was filthy. There was nothing for tweens to do since there were no instructions to electronic that were available . There were plenty of books which fortunately my grandchildren loved, but other tweens probably might not. Improvements: There needs to be a full instruction 3 ring binder on both floors.
There needs to be a safety grab bar in bathroom. Stairway rails would be helpful for safety.
All in all the property was in a great location.

I am sorry to report negative things about my experience in Buffalo. I do not like to do this. But there were so many things wrong and the price was certainly not commensurate with the experience. This was at least my fourth VRBO stay and I planned another for this summer but I'm rethinking it now. Some of the things wrong were no lamps, except in the bedrooms, no mirrors in the bedrooms, broken light fixtures upstairs in the kitchen and on the porch, no handrail in the entryway, backed up drain in the downstairs bathtub, difficult to use oven in the downstairs kitchen, dangerous shower in the upstairs tub with no hand rails or anti slip material in a high sided tub with little water pressure, few hangers in the closets some of which were the plastic ones that come for free from discount stores, stained carpeting, overhead lights that were not dimmable, and a refrigerator that made a very loud noise when it came on. There were other things but I think that's enough. We do have pictures of these complaints. I would not have stayed except I didn't know much about Buffalo and there was no magazine at the house that I could find that had advertising for other places to stay. Like I say, sorry to be so negative but definitely not up to usual VRBO standards.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations, especially given your prior positive experiences with vacation rentals. That’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide.
We take your concerns seriously, and we will be reviewing each of the issues you mentioned—ranging from lighting, maintenance, and safety features to overall comfort and amenities. Your detailed notes and photos are helpful, and we will use them to address these matters promptly and thoroughly.
At the same time, we do want to note that in over 10 years of hosting, this is the first time we’ve received this type of feedback. While that doesn’t diminish your experience, it does suggest that these issues are not typical, and we will be investigating what may have gone wrong in this instance.
We were also concerned to find that the exterior security cameras by the door had been covered with tape during your stay. These cameras are in place solely for safety and property protection, and tampering with them is against house guidelines. We would appreciate any clarification you can provide regarding this.
We regret that the condition of the property impacted your visit to Buffalo, and we understand your hesitation about future bookings. Feedback like yours is important in helping us improve, and we will be taking steps to ensure a better experience for future guests.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
We had a lovely time at this property, it was perfect for a group of friends of mixed ages traveling together for a long weekend. Lots of space, was bigger I thought than it had looked in the listing, and was very conveniently located for getting around Buffalo. Would definitely book again & recommend!
Perfect accommodations for our family of 12 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Buffalo/Niagara had so many fun things to do. It was a wonderful family vacation.
We had a large group of 11 and we were more than comfortable. This is a great location in North Buffalo but nothing is too far away. An easy commute downtown to the Keybank Centre and walking distance to some great restaurants. Linda was great to deal with - answering questions without delay and even checking in to make sure we didn't have any issues.
The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The main floor living room was large enough for our entire group to gather.
We had never been to buffalo but we are so happy to have picked Linda’s property! We were walking distance to Hertel Ave which is there everything was that we wanted! I didn’t give 5 stars because there weren’t pictures of the bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a claw foot tub and it was amazing to soak in with a glass of wine while everyone else slept in! All were clean. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe walking home every night as a group. Awesome house for a very memorable trip!!!

Buffalo Weekend Away
The house was spotless! The cleanest house I have rented yet. It was spacious for all, a great location from downtown, very clean, was very warm and welcoming, and plenty of parking. We enjoyed staying in Linda's home and had a great weekend. She was a great host and communicated closely with me throughout and during the rental process. We recommend a bigger group to stay here!!

Hola! We are a young family of 4. I am originally from Colombia and my husband is from Buffalo NY. We homeschool and road-school our 6 and 3 years old kids. Traveling is one of our hobbies. Knowing the needs of us traveling with our family, we realize how important it is to provide everything you need to have a comfy and safe stay while you are traveling. Besides homeschool and cooking delicious food almost every day Jonathan owns a computer business and I am a Spanish Coach. We both love meeting people from all over the world. Jonathan loves cooking and trying new international recipes. Faith, Family and Freedom is what characterizes us. Our places are in walking distance to many of the restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques and shops on or around Hertel Ave. Our street is very safe and quiet; just a couple minutes from our places you will find the Buffalo Zoo, Delaware Park, Science museum and more.
