About this property

Fantastic Downtown Condo With Shared Pool!

Perfect "live like a local" condo! Four blocks from legendary Forsyth park, 2 blocks from the grocery store, and 3-4 blocks to restaurants and coffee shops. Super comfortable and cozy; you will get a true feeling of a Savannah home.
The unit features a large bedroom, large living area, fully equipped kitchen and luxury bathroom with a 2 person Jacuzzi hot tub garden bath.
Also, a short 20 minute drive to Tybee Island for a beach day.
I am always available to answer any questions they may have regarding their stay and the unit. I love giving advice on places to visit and especially places to eat.

A few notes:
- This is a a first floor condo in a urban downtown district. You will see people of all types, including a few vagrants. If this makes you nervous in any way, there are many great hotels to choose from.
- This residence was constructed about 150 years ago. up the floors are slightly slanted. If you have mobility or vertigo issues, you might want to choose a hotel as well.
- If you want to live like a local, this is as local as you can live. We can't wait to host you. :)!

Hahaha! Awesome. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the city as well as the floors! Yes, as with many historic homes, the floors are slanted due to previous settlement. However, we have had work done to ensure against future settlement. It's definitely unique. And, i absolutely agree, this unit is not a good fit for anybody with trouble walking due to the floors and the 4 steps at the front and back. But, if your looking to live like a local, you can not beat this spot. 😎

Absolutely enjoyed the time there as always. Love historic buildings especially the slanted floors. Thats what you will find in Savannah historic homes. The pool was awesome didn't have to drive to go swimming and just relax. David the owner is outstanding. We had the pleasure of meeting him this past week and some good conversation. Also it is close walking distance to everything. We also love to cook on the grill so the grill on the property was a plus. We love it there and will always stay there when visiting Savannah. Look no further......

Savannah historic

Everything was great didn’t get to use the pool ? And was never able to make coffee but other than that it was the best place I recommend them and we will come back.

Hmmmm, well, I am very happy to hear that Joseph and co. enjoyed their stay and will be coming back. Why they did not get to use the pool, I am not sure. It was certainly open and available. And, I am not sure about why they were unable to make coffee. There is a coffee maker in the unit with coffee. If, by chance the coffee had run out, there is a Kroger grocery store less than 2 blocks away. Or, I would have happily brought some coffee by. I am always open and available to my guests. I want your stay to be perfect. If there is anything I can do, just let me know and I am happy to oblige. ;)

Savannah getaway

Great communication with the host. The property is spotless and parking on the street is easy. You’re no more than a 10 minute car ride to the downtown area. Some of the best all-around food I’ve ever had is in Savannah and you should go to Tybee Island For an afternoon. Plenty of historical sites to visit, lots of history in Savannah. We will certainly return to Savannah and stay again at this property.
