We had an amazing stay with our group of 15 adults, a 7-year-old, and a 15-year-old. We stayed here for a weekend of side-by-side riding, and the location was perfect. The house is right on the trail with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go, which made the entire weekend so convenient.The house itself was beautiful and incredibly clean when we arrived. It was stocked with more than enough dishes and everything we needed to cook meals for a large group comfortably.We really enjoyed all the amenities — especially the kayaks, grill, and games, which kept everyone entertained throughout the trip. The layout worked perfectly for us. While the listing says 6 bedrooms, one of them is technically a pull-out couch area rather than a fully enclosed bedroom with a door. That said, it still worked out great for our group and didn’t take away from our experience at all.Overall, this was a wonderful place for a large family/group getaway, and we would absolutely stay again!

This house was the perfect size for our group of 15 people-plenty of room for everyone to spread out! There was plenty of parking and access to the garage was super useful. The kitchen was large with plenty of indoor dining space (there is minimal outdoor dining space, however). The bathrooms were large with plenty of towels for everyone! The dock space was large enough for our 3 boats with space remaining for the kids to jump in the lake. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the decor updated and "cabiny". We also appreciated the minimal check out requirements!A few things to note-there are over 70 steps from the deck to the lake and the paved path is fairly steep/too narrow for a car, so make sure everyone in your group can handle the hike! Also, based on previous reviews I expected to need nothing in the kitchen - while it was well stocked with certain things (dinnerware, silverware, glassware, utensils), it was short on mixing/serving bowls, storage containers, and kitchen linens. The appliances were a mixed bag - the stove/oven were great but the fridge storage space was reduced due to several broken door shelves and the dishwasher, while it works, is not properly installed (it's not attached, slides in/out/tips forward when the bottom rack is pulled out). For a house of this quality and at this price point, I was surprised by these issues and think they would be fairly easy fixes. This truly is a lovely home, and with a few fixes could be perfect!
