I stayed a full month in this cozy basement apartment and I couldn’t have been happier! Lots of natural light came in every morning with a tranquil view of a flock of hens right out the windows, which cranked the charm level WAY up. Eliza also thought of everything that her visitors would need. I didn’t want for anything. And the apartment is very thoughtfully put together, with super cool mid-century charm. This host was also a very welcoming and generous by offering up her backyard as a hangout spot-She allowed me to bring my two small dogs so that was the perfect gift for them. And I couldn’t get over the friendly and quiet neighborhood! We took long dog walks every evening and all of the neighbors were so lovely. The best part of our walks was venturing over to the Jordan River Trail just a couple blocks over. The Smith’s grocery store was also super convenient as was the freeway entrance. Once I had something happening at the south end of the valley and I couldn’t believe it only took 22 minutes to get there. When visiting Salt Lake City in the future, this spot will now be at the top of my list for my stay.
