We are conveniently located in the sought after Boca del Rio district in the town of San Pedro. During your stay enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and the Great Barrier Reef from the rooftop palapa/pool lounge area. You will also experience spectacular sunrise and sunset views from the rooftop lounge or your private front/back deck.

Take a stroll along the beach to your favorite beach bar, restaurant, or dive shop. Along your stroll, stop at the beach, swim in the ocean, or snorkel off the dock. Or maybe continue just a little further where you will find the famous Palapa Bar where you can float on the inner tubes and enjoy a cool one with your friends.

Casa del Rai is a 10min walk to the center of downtown San Pedro, where you will find shops, artisans, and street vendors.

We are conveniently situated close to many amenities, fruit stand, grocery store, bakery, and the best local Belizean street food.

We offer one or two-bedroom one-bathroom Condos, each with a pull-out couch/futon to accommodate extra guests. Each condo is fully furnished with a full kitchen, including a microwave/coffee maker/toaster/fridge and stove. Each suite has an ocean-facing deck, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the breeze as well as a street-facing deck where you can watch the hustle and bustle of San Pedro.

The main transportation on Ambergris Caye is golf carts, bicycle, or foot. We now have golf cart rentals on-site for your convenience!

We provide transportation from either the Water taxi or Airport to Casa Del Rai on arrival and departure

This is the perfect place to stay in San Pedro! Walkable to anything that you would need + fun beach bars/ restaurants. Short golf cart ride to anywhere else on the island. Randy and Aileen were awesome host and helped make our trip very special. Clean, spacious, and safe. Could not have asked for a better stay!

Randy and Aileen are perfect hosts! When our group of 12 consisting of 6 Kid’s aged 3-10 arrived, we were greeted with a massive group of help! It made our long day of traveling seem like nothing with there help. Aileen had all of our shuttles and boat rides covered to and from San Pedro both ways. The island is amazing and so are the locals. I never felt once unsafe with our kids, even later hours of the night. The restaurants were diverse with menus so everyone was happy. The snorkeling was great all the kids 3-10 engaged as well. This was the best vacation ever! One tip, Max out at the duty free when arriving as the liquor is very expensive.

Condo in Great Location

We stayed at Casa Del Rai for 3 days and just loved it! It is so close to everything, we walked to the beach, the restaurants, to all the little shops and the grocery store. Aileen and Randy the hosts are great people, they were available for all our questions, had a few cold beverages waiting for arrival. Just really nice people! They arranged tours and had great connections! The condo was really new, clean and well decorated, beds were comfortable. We had a great view of the sea and we loved that we were in the centre of the village and felt like we were a part of Belize not hidden away from everything like most resorts. The roof top pool was spectacular, I saw both a beautiful sunrise and sunset from the top of the roof you can see for miles! We spent a whole day just floating in the pool with the floaties they supplied. It was so relaxing. We can't wait for our next stay in San Pedro, we are definitely going to spend it at Casa del Rai! Loved every moment of it!

Perfect place in San Pedro

Staying at Casa del Rai is amazing! Aileen and Randy have put so much thought into every detail and it shows. Comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen, bright lighting in the bathroom, beautiful tile throughout and so much more. Morning coffee on the veranda with a view of palm trees and the ocean can't get much better. Oh wait....evening sunset from the rooftop might be! Especially from the pool with a drink in hand. :) The one bedroom unit is perfect for me, a solo traveler, but would also be great for a couple or friends traveling together. The sofa bed gives those options. The location puts you close to restaurants, beach bars and shops. Within a short walking distance you can be on the beach or in town. A short stroll south on Boca del Rio beach to Wayos beach bar and Sandy Toes. About a 7 minute walk and you are at Palapa Bar. Happy hour pizza at Sandbar is yummy and right there on the beach. I will be recommending Casa del Rai to all my traveling friends and look forward to my next stay!

We are from Saskatchewan, Canada, and feel very fortunate to own and operate a guest house on Ambergris Caye. We love the people in San Pedro and are enjoying the laid back atmosphere on the Island. We are also very excited to escape the cold winters back home and to enjoy the warm Caribbean air while watching the sunrise and sunset from our roof top balcony. We love to entertain, so during your stay with us, we will be here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with San Pedro and the location of this property. It is only a short 10 min walk along the beach to downtown, yet we have the peacefulness and quietness if so desired.

What makes this property unique

The full potential of the house with the addition of the third and fourth-floor condo suites and the view from the rooftop balcony is unbelievable. The rooftop pool also is a unique addition to the home.
