Beautiful home, met our needs for a large property with sufficient rooms, beds and bathrooms however the far west bedroom had a foul smell and so we couldn’t use it. The house was not cleaned properly. Many rooms had not been vacuumed. Many walls and towels had a reddish pink liquid spilled and then dried. The kitchen island had dried food that we had to clean off. The propane tank was almost empty so had to buy propane for the grill. We left a backpack when we checked out and it has been extremely difficult to have communication to resolve the issue. The house was a great house not impressed with VRBO

Thank you for your feedback. This falls short of our standards and I’m sorry for the issues you encountered. We’ve shared your notes with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for a full deep-clean, odor investigation, and retraining so this doesn’t happen again. I am sorry about the difficulty in retrieving your backpack, our cleaners and inspectors are usually very busy after a check out, getting the house ready for the next guest, and we have to work around that schedule. I'm glad to know that the backpack was retrieved by a member of your party very soon!
