Second time renting from Heidi, she is a wonderful host and her properties are always so well thought out.Wolf lake is very swimmable and there’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy throughout the property. We had a great stay!
The only thing that I was disappointed in was the access to the beach and water you had to walk thru pickers. And it was overgrown with tall weeds. But other than that it was a very nice place to stay
The deck overlooking the lake is wonderful for reading and relaxing. Or you can enjoy the view from indoors with the large sliding glass doors. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the host is very responsive.
Such a cozy little spot! Clean, well cared for, and right on the beach. Highly recommend! Icing on the cake that our little Jack Russell could come along and there weren’t rules, rules, rules about how to manage him. Just be respectful of this beautiful home!
Very clean; property description & photos are very accurate. Two minor suggestions for improvement:1. Better exterior markings of property- we got in after dark, the only visible house number was on the mailbox and it didn’t stand out. Also, it didn’t help that the house numbers in that area are not sequential. 2. While it was definitely not an issue, I feel that we should have been made aware that someone lives in the basement of the property. This should have been disclosed prior to our booking & payment. This person & I am sure her dog are lovely, just should not have been a surprise.
Would've liked to have had the beach in better condition, the neighbor doesn't like people on her side of the beach and there were lots of weeds on ours. Beautiful home and wonderful accommodations overall.

Thank you, Bruce! We’re so glad you enjoyed the home and accommodations, and we appreciate your feedback about the beach. Late in the summer, aquatic weed growth can definitely become more noticeable along the shoreline. We agree that we’d like the beach area to be in better condition and are making changes to improve how we maintain our portion of the lakefront going forward. We also appreciate your understanding that the neighboring beach areas are private property and not part of our rental. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you’ll visit again!
The home was very clean, however the internet was out and had been for at least week prior and there was no communication telling us that until we were checked in. The reason the internet is important is because it is the only way the television worked. In addition, the service for our cell phones was very poor and no Wi-Fi made it impossible to get a signal. Unfortunately, it rained and was cold all day on Tuesday. Before we left for the day my mom had me turn the heat on so when we got back the house would be warm, once we returned the home smelled of cat pee very strongly. My understanding is there is a 20-year-old cat that lives in the unit downstairs, which we wouldn't have known if the hosts sister hadn't told us. She is also the one that told us the internet was out. The host said it was because of storms but in actuality the sister said she believes the internet line was cut on accident a week prior to our visit. If she had told us, we probably would have opted to stay in a hotel.Otherwise, the VRBO was very nice and had a beautiful view of Wolf Lake.

Why they chose this property
This is my childhood property that has been completely remodeled. The neighborhood is a quiet single family lake home location. Guests are asked to provide a high level of respect for our neighbors at all times.
What makes this property unique
We own two sunset facing lake homes that are side by side sharing a dock and beautiful waterfront. The two homes together sleep 19
