Waiohuli Beach Hale is a small oceanfront complex located in Kihei Maui Hawaii. This property has a great aloha feeling with a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Each unit is steps from the ocean and is centrally located to great shopping, restaurants, beaches and is minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. In addition there is a 60 foot solar heated pool, barbecues and shuffleboard located right next to the ocean. This complex is one of the great finds in Kihei Maui for its affordability and charm. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy magnificent sunsets from your lanai. Waiohuli Beach Hale is a Maui property where guests return year after year.

Spacious condo with beautiful ocean/pool view

Really enjoyed the space of the condo. Having children with us and it being 2 bedroom versus having to pull out the sofa bed every night was great. Amazing view of the pool and ocean and the garden grounds were very nice.

Hawaii fun

Great access to ocean and pool. Near stores for food. Got to see sea turtles at dusk on the beach. Clean grills to cook on. Near other food options. We had a great time.

Wow what a view! Great location. Just steps from a nice beach. Grocery store restaurants all within 700/800 feet. With more just a mile down the road. Condo is well equipped. Clean condo and beds are comfortable and A/C works well. Several grill poolside are great for eat in days. Nice beach chairs and umbrella available. Stay here!

Nice place to stay but the ac unit was sometimes not measuring up to the temp.

Also, when trying to wash the laundry it was challenging to get availability because of housekeeping doing laundry at the time I needed it. Next, I would ask for a lower level unit. Overall, we liked the stay and beach access including the room had beach chairs we could use.

Nice beachfront condo

This condo was pretty nice. The furniture was very comfortable, beds were great, a well-stocked kitchen. It was wonderful having beach towels and a large bag to take to the beach. The view was wonderful! And it was great having a keyless entry so we never had to worry about losing a key! The unit did seem "tired"; it is in need of some fresh paint. A couple of negatives: the power went out one evening and there was no working flashlight in the unit. And the after-hours emergency operator suggested we "walk across the street and buy our own flashlight, if we were concerned." Not helpful. We also did not see a readily available fire extinguisher, which I would think would be a requirement for a rental unit. One other helpful thing would be to have instructions for the bedroom TV's, since we tried everything to get them to work properly. (Maybe that was just us). Overall, the place was good and we enjoyed our time in Kihei.

Great location, beautiful property, comfortable unit!

This is a great location. Walking distance to grocery, coffee shop and restaurants. Centrally located on island so it's not a far drive to anything, especially the airport. Beautiful beach that was never crowded. No reef snorkeling from this beach, but could see turtles and beautiful sunset! Pool is large enough to swim laps, never crowded and has plenty of lounge chairs. Landscaping of the grounds is beautiful. The unit was dated (as shown in photos) and carpet could stand to be replaced, but it was clean and all appliances worked. When we arrived the maintenance crew was finishing up installing a new A/C in one of the bedrooms that had apparently quit working between us and the last guest. They were super nice, and never in our way. The property management company was very professional and came to check it the next day. The A/C units kept the place as cool as you wanted. Beds were comfortable. View from this unit is great. Laundry room is just at the bottom of the steps and the machines work well. This is a clean, comfortable and quiet complex. Not a lot of kids and no loud parties, but a friendly and laid back atmosphere. I would stay here again.

Quiet condo with beach a short walk away

This was a quiet condo with all that we needed to enjoy our time on Maui. There were beach chairs and towels that were very helpful in enjoying our time at the sandy beach just beyond the pool. We did an issue that the manager took time to help us when we called.

First time in Maui. This was very conveniently located in Kihei, right on the beach. The pool was very nice as were the community grills. Community grills often are in poor shape- these were not. Unit was fine, a little tight for 5 but we were in the unit much.

Great stay in well maintained property

Fully recommended. Great view, clean pool, fully equipped kitchen - everything was working, quite neighborhood, supermarket close by, proper bbq stations equipped with Weber grills. Only the aircon needs improvement - window aircon in children room is quite noisy, same vor aircon in master bedroom + this one smells. For this reason we used during night time only the aircon in the living room and kept the bedroom doors open. Some apartments have proper split Airconditioning but not this one, here they use aircons with an exhaust pipe. H

Great Condo!!!

When we pulled up to the condo, we weren’t sure because of how small the group of condos were, but when we got inside and opened our back door, we were very pleasantly surprised. Not only was the condo a good size, very clean and with plenty of comfortable furniture, the back patio opened up to a beautiful landscape with a pool and ocean view. Everybody in the condos were respectful of each other, so there wasn’t a ton of noise. While the furniture in VRBOs is never super comfortable since it has to be durable, this unit has plenty of seating and even a recliner. There was also a bunch of different kinds of pillows to choose from, which saved my neck. There wasn’t very many beach supplies, only two beach chairs, one umbrella, and one water sprayer, so if you want boogie boards, more beach chairs than two, or things to make sandcastles, you might want to bring your own. There also aren’t extra toiletries like some condos have, but there’s a grocery store a three minute walk away which sells plenty of sample size toiletries. All in all, I would stay here again! It’s a beautiful condo at a beautiful location with an absolutely beautiful view!!!

The pool and BBQ area was fantastic and you can’t beat the sunset from Waiohuli Beach Hale. Staff was friendly and helped me with suggesting things for the family to do. Waiohuli Beach Hale 210C

David, Your condo is very quiet and is in an amazing location with breathtaking views of the pool and ocean. It was a reassuring to be able to lock the front storm door. Parking is convenient and we were able to access the condo easily with the code. Thank you for providing air conditioning for the bedrooms and living room. The beads were comfortable. The AC filters need to be cleaned very soon. We would’ve liked to have availability to some cleaning products for floors and bathrooms to keep the place clean while we were there. We would love to stay in this exact unit again, except we would prefer to book a unit at WBH without carpet next time. We would love to give our five star rating to Henry the property manager. Henry was very friendly, helpful, and kind. He also meticulously upheld the strata rules. He takes his job very seriously and was always out working. He recommended local sites such as the strawberry farm and fish hatchery to name a few.

Great location

Condo has a great view and is super close to lots of stores. We walked to dinner, the market, coffee, rented snorkels and a my son got a week membership at a local gym. Watched the sun set each night from the beach and even saw sea turtles too. Highly recommend this condo. We are a family of five and my youngest is 14 and it was perfect for us.

Reviewer Comments: I can't say enough about the location, right on the beach. Bring your water shoes to fully enjoy your stay. The condo was clean and smelled great. The place is old, the furniture is dated, the garbage trucks will wake you at the Crack of dawn. The fridge worked great but it felt like was a temporary unit. The pool was awesome. There is a church next door who offers free meals daily, we witnessed many unhoused folks sleeping around the nearby grocery store.
