About this property
Big Sky Vista - Hot Tub, Fireplace & Mountain View
Wander Big Sky Vista features a chef’s kitchen with a honed Brazilian marble island, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf cooktop and ovens, and custom walnut cabinetry with a hidden coffee station and pantry. The great room showcases a glass-encased design with a suspended Gyrofocus fireplace and a cedar-lined 17-foot ceiling. Outdoor spaces include a dining and grilling terrace with a BBQ and gas fire bowl, a lower patio with a fire pit and private hot tub, and expansive sunset views over the mountains. Additional amenities include exercise equipment, a cozy family lounge area, a monolithic concrete feature wall, a large laundry and storage area with lock-off, a heated two-car garage with ski racks and boot heaters, and beautiful panoramic views throughout.
Surrounded by sweeping mountain vistas and endless skies, Wander Big Sky Vista is your gateway to Montana’s most breathtaking adventures. Spend your days hiking scenic alpine trails, fly-fishing in crystal-clear rivers, or mountain biking through forests bursting with wildflowers. In winter, enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding on Big Sky’s legendary slopes, then unwind with a hot toddy by the fire or a soak in the outdoor hot tub under a canopy of stars. Nearby, explore local boutiques, art galleries, and gourmet dining that celebrate the spirit of the mountains.
PET POLICY
Our pet fee is $350/stay charged at check-out. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities. Pet owners will be responsible for damage and charged through their payment on file.
CELL SERVICE
There is poor cell coverage in the area leading into the property. We recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
WILDLIFE WARNING
Please be aware that wildlife populations including black bears and moose are high in the area (particularly from July to mid-November), and we kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed. Bringing bear spray is recommended when going out.
ACCESSIBILITY
This home contains features that may be difficult for mobility-challenged guests, including climbing stairs to navigate the property.
TRAILS
Roads
We strongly recommend arriving in an all-wheel-drive (AWD) or four-wheel-drive vehicle (4WD), as roads leading to the property may be steep and bumpy. Ensuring your vehicle is equipped and driving carefully will help make your arrival as smooth and safe as possible. Snow tires are required in the winter to ensure safe driving conditions.
Ski Access
You can access the mountain directly from the neighborhood. From the home, walk about 100 yards to the corner of Black Moon and Beehive Basin Road. The ski access trails from there lead down to the base of the Cascade Lift. Take the lift up to reach the main Ski Village at Big Sky Resort.
Alternatively, it is roughly a 5-minute drive to the Big Sky Village parking areas or about the same distance to Madison Village within Moonlight Basin.
Ski-In Access
You can return to the home by skiing to the base of the Cascade Lift, taking the lift up, then skiing down the access trail alongside Beehive Basin Road back to the corner of Black Moon and Beehive Basin Road.
