About this property

3BR LUX Cabin w Firepit, Game Loft + Scenic Views!

Just flagging before I revise — this document is the community-level "Welcome to Eagles Nest" overview, and it actually promotes the community's own UTV/ATV trails as an amenity. Adding "ATVs and dirtbikes are not allowed on-site" here would directly contradict that. Did you want me to add it anyway, or is this note meant for individual property listings only (like the previous ones)?

Here's the revised version otherwise — `
` removed, phone number removed, "cozy" swapped out:

**Welcome to Eagles Nest**

Nestled at a lofty 5,200 feet in North Carolina's High Country, Eagles Nest is a private gated community that effortlessly blends luxury comforts with rugged mountain adventure. This neighborhood is known for its elevated summer camp vibes all year long, offering nature-based fun and exclusive amenities in every season. Eagles Nest is truly a haven for year-round activity, catering to every age and interest—from families with kids to couples seeking a romantic escape, from outdoor thrill-seekers to those looking for a touch of mountain luxury.

**Year-Round Adventures for Everyone**

In summer, the community comes alive with nearly weekly outdoor concerts at the amphitheater, plus cookouts, family games, and a huge Fourth of July festival with live bands, craft beers, and delicious food. Autumn brings crisp mountain air and vibrant fall foliage across the Blue Ridge, along with seasonal festivals and music events. Winter transforms Eagles Nest into a snowy wonderland with sunny brisk days, scenic snowfall on the peaks, and miles of snowy trails perfect for off-roading. When you're ready for downhill excitement, the slopes of Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain are only minutes away, both offering skiing, tubing, ice skating, and après-ski fun. Spring welcomes wildflowers, new greenery, and great weather for hiking trails, scenic drives, and thrilling rides on the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster.

**On-Site Fun & Adventure**

Nearly every summer weekend, the Great Camp amphitheater hosts live music under the stars. Great Camp is the central gathering spot, featuring a ball field, playground, Toy Barn stocked with gear and games, and an Activities Director. There's also a BBQ Pavilion with TV, fireplace, and grills, perfect for cookouts and game days. Great Camp also offers mini-golf, a ropes course, climbing tower, archery, horseshoes, and more.

The Sportsman's Lodge area includes long-range views, sports fields, pickleball and basketball courts, outdoor seating, fire pits, event stage, and even a dog park. Seasonal food service offers casual bites like pizza and burgers. Eagles Nest also has an on-site general store for essentials.

Nature lovers and adventure seekers will find miles of UTV/ATV trails, scenic hiking routes from riverbanks to ridgeline peaks, fly-fishing along private riverfront access, and large recreation areas like Camp Eagles Nest featuring tennis courts, fishing pond, disc golf, camping areas, and picnic shelters.

**Relaxation & Luxury Amenities**

Eagles Nest Winery offers a premium wine experience with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the mountains, live music, and fire features. The nearby cigar and wine lounge provides a refined space with plush seating and quiet ambiance. A modern fitness center with cardio equipment, weights, and a yoga studio makes wellness convenient. The newly built Great Camp Restaurant delivers dining options right within the community, making it easy to enjoy great meals without leaving the mountain.

**Nearby Attractions**

Just down the mountain is Banner Elk—known for charming shops, breweries, cafes, and dining ranging from casual to upscale. Area highlights include Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Tweetsie Railroad, Banner Elk Winery, and Linville Caverns. Winter sports enthusiasts will love the easy access to Sugar Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Resort for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and village entertainment.

In short, Eagles Nest in Banner Elk offers an unmatched combination of adventure, luxury amenities, and incredible natural scenery. Whether you want trails, concerts, bonfires, fine wine, or quiet mountain relaxation, this community provides the perfect setting to create unforgettable memories.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Eagles Nest because it blends rugged mountain beauty with resort-style amenities, all in one place. Its elevated 5,200 ft location offers sweeping Blue Ridge ridgeline views and a sense of peaceful seclusion — yet it’s surprisingly close to everything that makes the North Carolina High Country special. With access to protected forest land, private trails, and natural surroundings, it delivers that “mountain escape” feel. At the same time, its proximity to Banner Elk means you’re only minutes from great restaurants, shops, and local charm, while ski resorts, hiking trails, and scenic drives are easily accessible. For us, Eagles Nest struck the perfect balance: tranquil nature, community spirit, and convenience.

What makes this property unique

High Low Cabin stands out because it offers the best of both worlds: cozy cabin comfort with elegant, modern finishes — and a layout built for groups or families. With three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and plenty of sleeping space, it comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. Inside you'll find vaulted ceilings, a grand stone fireplace, and an open-concept living and kitchen area that’s perfect for gathering after a day of adventure.

Large windows and a spacious deck bring the outdoors in, letting you soak up mountain air, ridgeline views, and seasonal beauty from sunrise to sunset. For downtime or fun, the upstairs loft turns into a games and hangout lounge — ideal for shuffleboard, relaxing, or letting kids unwind while adults prepare dinner downstairs.

When you combine the cabin’s thoughtful layout, scenic setting, and proximity to everything from hiking and skiing to downtown Banner Elk, you get a getaway that truly feels like your home base in the mountains. High Low Cabin isn’t just a place to stay — it’s your mountain retreat where memories are made.
