We’re a family that truly loves Vermont and everything that comes with living here—the mountains, the snow, the beautiful fall colors, the small towns, and especially the sense of community. This area is home to us, and The Eagles Wing is something we’re genuinely proud to share with others.

For us, hosting isn’t just about providing a place to sleep. We want you to walk in, settle down, and feel like you can really relax. We know how valuable time away with family and friends can be, and we hope this becomes the kind of place where you make memories, laugh a lot, enjoy good food, spend your days exploring, and maybe even start a tradition of coming back year after year.

One of our favorite parts of hosting is sharing the Vermont we know and love. We’re always happy to recommend a favorite restaurant, a local hidden gem, something fun to do, or simply a great place to enjoy the scenery.

We’ve put a lot of ourselves into The Eagles Wing, and we continue to add little touches that we hope make it feel less like a rental and more like a home.

We chose this area because it has everything we love about Vermont in one place. Being so close to Mount Snow means there’s always something to look forward to, no matter the season—but what we love most is that it still feels like a small Vermont community.

There’s something special about waking up surrounded by the mountains, watching the leaves change in the fall, seeing everything covered in fresh snow in the winter, and enjoying the quieter, green days of summer. Some of our favorite moments are the simple ones—taking a scenic drive, grabbing food from a local restaurant, exploring Wilmington, spending a day at Mount Snow, or just enjoying how peaceful it is here.

We also love how much personality this area has. There are locally owned restaurants, shops, farms, trails, lakes, and little places you might never discover unless someone local tells you about them. That’s part of the reason we enjoy sharing our recommendations with guests.

It really feels like you can slow down here. We hope our guests get to experience the same Vermont that made us love this area in the first place. ♡

What makes The Eagles Wing special to us is that it doesn’t feel like just another vacation rental—it feels like a little Vermont home away from home.

We’re a family-run property, and we put a lot of thought into the little details. From our Take a Book, Leave a Book shelf and local recommendations to the small touches we add throughout the space, everything is meant to make your stay feel a little more personal.

Our location is also a huge part of what makes The Eagles Wing special. You can spend the day skiing or exploring Mount Snow, head into Wilmington for local shops and restaurants, enjoy Vermont’s incredible fall foliage, and then come back to a quiet, comfortable place to unwind.

But our favorite thing about The Eagles Wing is the feeling we hope guests have while they’re here. We want you to make breakfast together, come home tired after a day on the mountain, curl up with a book, laugh with the people you came with, and create the kind of memories you’ll still talk about years from now.
