Our family of 9 had a wonderful time here. The house was very spacious and immaculately clean. My favorite spot was the deck by the lake. Me and the dog were out there every morning. Jeremy was wonderful to work with. He answered any questions I had immediately and made check in a breeze. If you are planning a trip to Lake George I would definitely recommend The Lake House.

Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for the beautiful review! We're so glad the house was spacious enough for all 9 of you and that check-in was a breeze. I love picturing those quiet mornings out on the lake deck with your dog, that's truly the best way to start the day.
You and your family were fantastic guests, and we'd love to welcome you all back to Lake George anytime!
For me this was a very nostalgic stay at a rustic lakehouse, which was exactly what I wanted. I grew up in a lakehouse like this and wanted to reminisce and enjoy the experience. This is an older house, but charming and full of character. The location was peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. The location on the lake was very convenient and the hosts provided excellent communication and were responsive to questions. My family and I made wonderful memories and enjoyed boating all 32 miles of the lake during the week!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are absolutely thrilled that our Lakehouse brought back such sweet childhood memories for you. It sounds like you and your family made some incredible memories exploring all 32 miles of the lake!
You were fantastic guests, and we would love to welcome you back anytime for more boating adventures and nostalgia.
We enjoyed our visit there with friends and family over Thanksgiving. Cozy home with plenty of space to host a big group. Melissa was very attentive and accommodating will definitely be returning.
Excellent location on the lake. Very big house for a large family. Melissa was a great host. Great living room and dining room area for everyone to hang out in. Plenty of parking also. It’s a little bit of a hike down to the dock but a lot of houses are like that on the lake depending where you stay. Overall a great property.
The cabin was absolutely perfect, very spacious and impeccably clean and organized ! It had all the amenities you could ask for! Melissa was a wonderful host!
House was lovely - with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to make it comfortable for extended family. My wife and I went with our 3 kids, and 2 other couples - everyone had plenty of space.
We had such a nice time up in lake George over Columbus day weekend. The house was in such a great location with beautiful views of the lake. This would be a great place to swim in the summertime with the easy walk into the lake and all of the water crafts available too! My kids loved playing the board games at the house and also liked the pool table. Melissa was so sweet and welcoming. She was very helpful and seems like she really enjoys meeting her guests. Thank you Melissa for sharing your home with us!

Thank you, Richard for you kind and accurate review. I think this will give others a good idea as to the experience there. I do, though, have to explain the muddy and slippery walk down to the house! Though wintery weather can be challenging where it comes to making driveways and walkways safe for driving and walking, normally it is manageable. This fall, though, a huge project to replace and enlarge the septic system was underway. It was supposed to be completed long before these guests arrived, but delays happened. Not only did we have very early snow this fall, but lots of rain. All the bad weather together with the loss of ground cover and graveled surfaces while the digging was done left quite a muddy situation, as you can imagine. And I had to be out of town for surgery, and not on site to be helpful. I was lucky to have these patient and tolerant guests. And I am pleased to have so modern and reliablean on-site wastewater treatment system at the property now.
Perfect lake house to relax and close to all the main attractions in Lake George
We had an awesome time at this house. It was very clean and the location is perfect to relax, enjoy the lake and close to the downtown area other attractions. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Thanks so much for remarking on things about the house and my role as a host that I treat as really important things for me to focus on in providing an all-around pleasant vacation experience for my good guests.
We so enjoyed having the use of this entire cottage on the shores of Lake George for a spring break getaway. More than enough room for our whole family, this him provided the perfect retreat.
Great property, great location, great time! My family and I went for a few days and specifically was looking for something clean with access to the lake. My brother and stepdad managed to catch 49 fish during our 3 night stay! Fantastic time.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Maria. Yes, I have a wonderful cleaning staff, who go that extra mile.
Thank you, too, for coping with our snow and ice with no complaints. After all, the low temperatures made great ice for all those winter carnival events.
You'll be most welcome to return to Lake House or to our other property, Woodland House at Lake George.
The property was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, beautiful lake access, very comfortable home, and Melissa the host was the most thoughtful/best communicator of any host from whom we have rented.
Was perfect for our family and dog as we enjoyed winter on lake george. Can't wait to stay there again.
This is a great location & home. The house has everything you need and the dock on the water is beautiful!! The owner is very sweet and accommodating. Look forward to renting again in the future!
