Hi Felicia! We're really glad you had such a great stay. And thank you for sharing those birthday photos they looked like such a fun celebration. Those photos were a blast—literally. Appreciate you choosing us and hope to host you again.
Our host, Joni, was AMAZING! Always quick to respond to my many questions. Loved the fact that it was pet friendly. The home was very clean and the bed/pillows were quite comfortable, which is difficult to find sometimes. The stairs are a bit tricky, as they are quite steep and slightly uneven in height. The depth of the stairs seems a bit off too. There is an area of the handrail that is not able to be grabbed as it connects to the wall for about 3 steps. The second floor was hard to keep cool, I don’t believe there is a thermostat for that floor so you are utilizing the main level a/c, but it does not cool the second floor appropriately. Third floor has its own unit so it would be quite comfortable. We opted to sleep on the second floor, it was just myself, my husband and our dog, as we didn’t want to do the extra stairs. Enjoyed sitting on the deck with the river and view. Please note, the deck gets extremely hot in the sun, so if you have a fur baby, watch out for their paws It most definitely was a great value.
Very beautiful location. Enjoyed the nature around the most. Absolutely loved sitting in the hot tub while the weather is cold. As for the home, a little bit more kitchen utensils are needed. Loved having the luxury of an outdoor heater to enjoy sitting out on the deck. Patio has nice new outdoor furniture. Everything else was perfect.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. We really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings (and that hot tub in the cold weather is hard to beat). Great to hear you made the most of the deck and outdoor setup too. We appreciate the note about kitchen utensils and will look into adding more. You’re welcome back anytime.
The house is in a beautiful location and has a very nice layout. The problems we encountered were the following:- kitchen sink did not work - needed new batteries for the touch sensor- Smoke detector batteries dead, multiple sensors chirping- Fire place pilot not lit- Downstairs heat not working - Poorly equipped kitchen- Hot tub cloudy- Trash cans outside completely full- Text only support- Propane tank on outdoor heater nearly empty

Wonderful stay. We had a mini family reunion and found the house perfect for our needs. The large great room, open kitchen and dining room table accommodated 10 people nicely. The deck area is great. The hot tub was wonderful. We really needed instructions though. It took us a week to figure out how to get the pump to stay on longer than 1.5 hours at a time to heat the water. Prospective renters should know that the stairs to both the second and third floors are narrow, steep, and uneven in step heights. Anyone with hip or knee issues will find access to upper floors difficult. The enormous Master Bedroom is located at the top of the house. It encompasses an entire floor and has its own bathroom. I would suggest bringing a small coffee maker with you, if you plan to sleep in that room. The hike down to the kitchen is long and steep. The other 4 bedrooms are on the second floor. All 4 are small. There are two on each side of a hallway and each pair of rooms shares one small bathroom. The 4th full bath is on the ground floor. All the rooms have windows but all have signs posted that warn occupants that an alarm will sound if windows are opened. There is a balcony on the second floor, but it opens onto the hallway, not a bedroom. We tried opening that door for fresh air but too many bees came in that way. The house is in a perfect spot for open windows and fresh air but its rules do not permit it. Such a waste of fresh air and the electricity needed to run the ac.
