It was more remote than expected & the road was dirt about halfway up & don't know what we would have done if it had rained. We would have liked to be in a yurt closer to the restrooms since we were the only ones staying the yurts and were assigned to the furthest one from the restrooms.

Thank you for your feedback. Sequoia Highland Camp is intentionally located in a remote National Forest setting, and the final few miles are on a well-maintained gravel road, which we communicate before arrival. Regarding the yurt, guests select their preferred accommodation at the time of booking, including its location on the property. If being closer to the restrooms is important, please let us know next time—we'd be happy to help you choose the option that best suits your needs before you book. We also had several guests arriving on the second night of your stay, so not all yurts were available for a possible change. Thank you for staying with us, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
