We had a lovely stay at Al Dora Residence. The apartment was beautiful, very spacious and ideal for our family of five. There were two single beds in each of the two bedrooms, while the master bedroom also benefited from an en-suite bathroom. There was an additional separate family bathroom, which was very convenient for us.The kitchen was also lovely and spacious. However, it could benefit from having a few more essential cooking utensils, such as a new chopping board, a stainless-steel slotted turner, a ladle and other basic kitchen equipment. On the days we chose to cook at home, we found ourselves having to improvise with the utensils available. For example, we ended up using plates to chop food on because the existing chopping board didn’t look particularly hygienic. We would recommend replacing it with a new wooden chopping board.One other small point worth mentioning is that no toilet rolls were provided during our stay. It would have been appreciated if at least a few had been supplied on arrival, as we eventually had to purchase our own.We would also like to give a special mention to our hosts, Sylvia and Beshoys, who were both fantastic throughout our stay. They were very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Beshoys even came to drop off the keys in person, which we really appreciated. Their communication and helpfulness made the overall experience even better.
