We arrived late in the afternoon with 2 kids. The carpets all had multiple “stains” of various colors and some appeared to have not even been vacuumed. There were hairs left in the baths, on the bed sheets, and on bathroom counters. We wiped at the hard floor with a paper towel and it came up nearly entirely black. I made attempts to contact the property manager but he was overall unresponsive. We finally spoke and he promised to have cleaners out the next morning which never happened and was not mentioned again. Although we stayed the first night due to the late arrival we left and did not complete our stay due to the conditions of the property.

We take great pride in providing a clean and welcoming environment for families, and it is clear we fell short of those standards during your visit. ​Regarding your comments on the carpets, while minor staining can occur in high-traffic vacation rentals and is often unremarkable, we agree that the overall cleanliness you described—specifically regarding the bathrooms, bed sheets, and hard flooring—is completely unacceptable. We have since met with our cleaning and maintenance teams to address these failures and ensure our turnover protocols are strictly followed moving forward. ​Furthermore, we are reviewing our communication process to ensure that guest concerns are handled with the responsiveness and follow-through they deserve.
