Great house. Spent a lot of time on the large backyard deck. Also enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement. Would definitely stay at this property again.
We had a great time with friends at this house! There is plenty of room (we had 5 in our group), the furniture is comfortable, and it is a beautiful location on the lake. The hosts are quick to respond. We would stay here again!

Thank you for your review! We hope you come back and enjoy more seasons at the lake house. The fall with all the changing leaves and colors are awesome. There are many close activities to visit. The maple festival in the fall is awesome. If you love ice fishing great! Can you imagine Christmas up at the lake house? Make memories!
Things to consider changing/improving:Add a dishwasherclear the drains in the bathrooms/they fill up during use/not pleasant

Thank you for your review. With all the remodeling and repairs made prior to renting it was not in the budget to install a dishwasher at the time. . But we do understand we need one and will have one in the future. One of the reasons we supply all the paper products. The sink has a slow drain. We are looking into the issue.
We hope you come back again!
Nice clean rental property with good access from a channel to Lake of the Woods for tubing, skiing, swimming, cruising, or fishing. Has a dock with two slots for pontoon or other boat--one slot on each of the dock. Propert y was as described, and owner quickly responded to questions. Other than the bad air from Canada that affected much of the U.S. during the second half of the week, evrythng was perfect for our lake vacation. Good for 6-7 or 8 people. Local brewery, breakfast/lunch restaurant, and ice cream shop. Other good places to vist and eat in nearby Paw Paw and Dowagiac and other towns. St. Julian winery in Paw Paw, and other wineries, farm markets, and you-pick farms nearby.

Thank you for your review. We hope you come back. It is beautiful in the fall. Ice fishing in the winter.
Our stay at the property was great. The communication with the host was wonderful. The house was perfect for our group (4ad,2ch,2dogs). Plenty of space to spread out and hang out. The kids and dogs had a blast.the only issue to be noted, is there is NOT a bathroom on the main floor. There are steps up into the main floor (which are pictured in the listing). What is not pictured or mentioned is there are more steps up to all the bedrooms and a bathroom, and also steps down to the 2nd bathroom. For most, this might not be an issue but for those with mobility issues, this could be a deal breaker. Despite the stairs/bathroom issue, we really enjoyed the property and the location on the water!

We want to thank you for your review. Dooly noted on the bathroom location(s). Although we state the house is not handicap accessible, it does not state the house layout for people with mobility issues. We will word our property to note such things as the 2 bathrooms located on the upper and lower levels. As well as the 3 main bedrooms are on the upper level.
This house accommodated our family of 8 with ease. It is roomy and comfortable with a beautiful deck overlooking the inlet. The location is quiet & peaceful. Since it is a split-level type home there are a lot of stairs which is OK unless you have somebody with a disability that makes them difficult. That would be my only caution for a renter. It the steps aren't a problem it is a wonderful house. We had a couple communications with the homeowner which were quickly responded to. There were no problems but only some questions. If we were to go to this area again would certainly consider renting again. There are a lot of places to eat in town and not a long drive to Lake Michigan. The little lake the house is on is really nice.
