The property is spacious with lots of room. Comfortable with basics available. Cleanliness was challenging (floors, tables, and bedding) especially in the bathrooms. There was a lot of hair in one bed and someone’s eyelash. There was also a lot of hair in bathroom corners. The furnishing looked just like the pictures. With better cleaning and a few extras in the kitchen (cooking utensils ), I would then give 3.5 stars.

The air conditioning was not working when we arrived but the host did respond to my request and get the repair done before the end of our stay. Kitchen has most of what we needed but there was no coffee pot or can opener so we purchased them and left them for the next folks. The game tables in the basement are unplayable due to the slant of the floor. All the balls just roll to the corner.Overall what you see is what you get. Beds were comfortable but no top sheet, just fitted sheet and comforter. Towels were not soft but they got the job done.

House was remodeled but we were disappointed with the stay! Host was very responsive until we checked in and never replied to any messages. The handle to the glass door is broke, as soon as we opened the storm door to the house- the entire house reeked in weed. We left for a couple hours to explore the city and came back to the same smell. It was strong enough that our clothes smell like it( immediately thrown in washer when we got home). There was no way in heck the cleaning crew cleaned the house. There was left over food crumbs in the microwave. Cigarette ashes all over the table in the family room. There were chip crumbs in 2 of the beds on the fitted sheet. 3rd bedroom had hair all over the sheets and we found 2 spiders living their best lives on the pillow and in the sheets. No extra blankets for my husband and I who had to sleep on the couches. Shower was not cleaned, hair left in the shower and on the walls. House is upgraded and very nice but cleaning crew not taking care of it is ruining the stay.

Regarding cleanliness, the home was serviced prior to check-in; however, it appears certain details may have been overlooked due to a tight turnaround between reservations. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we are addressing this directly with our cleaning team to ensure it does not happen again. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and will continue working to maintain the high standards our guests expect.

When I arrived, there was no power. I immediately contacted the number provided, and the person who answered identified himself as the property manager. He told me there was nothing he could do and that he would not be able to speak with the owner until the following day. The manager initially stated that the power would be restored within an hour. However, I had already checked the DTE outage information, and the estimated restoration time did not support what he was telling me. I asked him to provide proof or any updates so I could make an informed decision about whether I needed to spend additional money on a hotel for my family. I never received a call back, an update, or any follow-up communication. My calls and concerns were essentially ignored for the remainder of what was supposed to be my stay. I understand that power outages are beyond a host’s control. What is within their control is communication, customer service, and how they handle unexpected situations. Throughout this experience, there was no meaningful communication, no accommodation offered, no attempt to check on my family, and no empathy shown for the inconvenience we experienced. The lack of professionalism and concern for guests was extremely disappointing. I paid for a stay that could not reasonably be enjoyed, and I was left to figure everything out on my own. My birthday was completely ruined. I will not recommend or stay here again. So much money waisted for this property hotel accommodations
