Buttercup Getaway.. a 4-bedroom house on 9 acres in East Burke..ski bike & relax

Stay comfortably at this 4-bedroom house on the Burke/Kirby line on the backside of Burke Mountain. Right off snowmobile trails and Kingdom mountain bike trails and less than 10 minutes to the Mountain resort! This tranquil single family home is overlooking the valley and a large private pond. It features 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor... perfect for 2 families or groups. With three shared bathrooms, guests always can find an empty bathroom! Bright and inviting, the home creates a delightful atmosphere for relaxing after a day of adventure. Whether you’re gathering for meals or unwinding in the living area, the brightness and comfort of the space makes every moment enjoyable. There is Satellite internet (our only option, but it works well) and Smart TVs in the 2nd floor den and both 1st floor bedrooms (not in the Kids bedrooms) Laundry is available in the basement in case you get wet or dirty. We truly hope that our place will help you experience everything Burke and the Northeast Kingdom has to offer!

Sorry no pets are allowed to enable everyone to enjoy the property. There is a strict no smoking policy in place. Starter toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent) will be provided. Sheets and Towels are provided for all beds and 8 guests. Please bring your own beach towels if you intend to venture out. Firewood is NOT provided.

Spring will see the addition of a fire pit, outdoor bike wash and seating area

This property is brand new to the market in 2026 after a complete rebuild wrapping up in early January. Join us as an early visitor in the 2nd half of January and claim a 20% discount for helping us make it perfect and write reviews for future visitors! We want feedback on how to make this the perfect getaway in case we missed anything!

The house was immaculate. And the pictures did not do it justice. Very nice inside, and roomy. Would definitely stay there again when heading to VT Northeast Kingdom. Very close to Burke Mountain as well. 6-8 minutes away.

We enjoyed Buttercup during our mid-winter break. The rental is updated and therefore well cared for and clean. The location afforded easy access to Burke Mtn and the village of East Burke. Our teenagers especially liked the upstairs tv/lounge area.

Great home and location close to Burke Mountain! Host was very organized and communicated well. Any question was dealt within a matter of minutes. Super comfortable stay with high quality bedding and towels throughout. Will definitely book again.

We live in Southern New Hampshire and have been traveling to ski every weekend in the winter at Burke Mountain for the last 39 years. My uncle built this house in 2003 and we recently completely renovated it after he moved out with short term rentals in mind.

Why they chose this property

Cant beat the views and the serenity of this lot. Although it is a 7 minute drive to the mountain it makes up for it in space, cost and year round amenities.

What makes this property unique

Clean, new and designed with renters in mind! Easy access but just far enough off the beaten path you wont see anyone else drive by your windows!
