This cute log cabin is in a private setting on the very popular Opinicon Lake. The screened-in porch across the front of the cottage provides a comfortable vantage point to view the beauty of the lake. Enjoy fishing and water sports from this private cottage set back in the trees.

Opinicon Lake has been revered for decades for its great bass and pike fishing and beautiful scenery. This cabin provides an idyllic stop over for boaters traveling through the Rideau Canal, a family vacation on an annual fishing trip or a couple looking for a romantic outdoor getaway. Sit and watch the stars as you roast marshmallows in the fire pit by the lake, or visit the historic towns in the area. Chaffey's Lock and Davis Lock can be accessed by boat from Opinicon Lake.

The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, parties, and lots more!

This very private log cabin retreat is located not far off of highway #15 at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 40 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 25 minutes from Ottawa. A great place for extended Families to congregate.

Given the weeds around the dock, take the canoe or kayak out to the end of the little island in front of the cabin, tie up there and swim in deeper water. Or go to the next door campground (two minute drive) to swim at the beach!

Amenities include: fire pit, picnic tables, 16' dock, screened-in porch, 17' canoe, two kayaks, Gas BBQ, small TV with Chromecast, private dock and space heaters for cool nights. 

Main-floor has a 3-piece bathroom with shower.


 Bedroom Configurations: Main level has one bedroom with a queen bed and the upstairs has a sleeping loft with 5 single beds.

For the prime summer weeks, this cottage rents from Saturday to Saturday.
