Hoverland- Magnificent Waterfront Villa - Big Rideau Lake

Located on over 10 acres and 2200 feet of shoreline on the Big Rideau, Hoverland is a dream for those looking to enjoy the lake and all that it offers!  Bring the extended family and explore the Rideau Canal and Rideau Lakes Region from this newly renovated property at Portland Ontario.

Included: 2, 3 bedroom cottages, two full kitchens,and two full bathrooms.

Beds: Cottage #1 has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and one with two sets of bunk beds plus a pull-out couch in the alcove of one of the bedrooms that has a queen bed. Cottage #2 has one room with a queen bed and the other two have a set of bunk beds in each that both have a double mattress on the bottom and a single on the top. The sun Room has a double futon and a daybed.

This property sleeps 20+, but the large flat land can accommodate tents, trailers and campers if you want to add extra people for an extra fee.

This cottage is conveniently located in the town of Portland, the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 45 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 15 minutes from central Ottawa; a great place for extended families to congregate. Portland is a popular tourist town with a great waterfront, 4 restaurants, groceries etc and it is the home of the famous "Skate the Lake" event and other local events.

Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping, restaurants, and lots more! The cottage is just minutes into the quaint town of Westport with shopping and restaurants, and two Golf Courses.

Required for booking: Names, ages, and addresses for all guests in your group.   For the prime summer weeks, this cottage rents from Friday to Friday.
