About this property
Large Victorian in Perfect Location!
My place is less then a block from Brady street and a 15 minute walk to the lake. Walking distance to over 75 restaurants and bars, many stores, 3 grocery stores and 2 pharmacies. A cheap uber ride to all Milwaukee activities and popular locations. 10 minute walk to a local bar that has a shuttle to Brewers games and summer fest. A huge and interestingly laid out victorian house with lots of amenities. Great place to host large groups, pets always welcome!
The space is roughly 3,900 sqft. There are six bedrooms, with nine beds in total. Two kitchens, five bathrooms (3 full, 2 half) three living rooms, one pool table, six TVs, and a large fenced-in backyard for parking and hanging out.
The third floor contains three bedrooms, one is a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private deck overlooking the backyard. There is a connecting side room (no door between the two rooms). The second bedroom is a large open area with four beds (one double, one queen, and three twins) this room is great for kids, or crashing after coming home from bar close! This room also has a TV and massage chair.
The second floor is set up like another apartment, however it is very open. This floor contains three bedrooms, one with a king bed and two with queen beds. It also has two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a home theater with a 120" screen, great for families or movie buffs.
The first floor is where all the entertaining happens, this floor contains a formal living room with a pool table and 75" TV, a family room with a 75' TV open to a kitchen and a dining area. There are two half bathrooms on the first floor.
The backyard is perfect for an outdoor BBQ, a large propane grill is provided, along with a nice seating area. The back area can fit several cars for parking and is completely fenced in if you bring your pups along.
Guests have access to the complete house, except the inside of the garage and the loft accessed via the third-floor staircase. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible in my house, please feel free to make yourself at home and use anything you should need. I provide all the bathroom supplies you should need. If you have any requests please let me know ahead of time and I will accommodate the best we can.
I normally stay nearby or will inform the stay if I plan to be out of town, please feel free to call or text me anytime during your stay if you need help, have a question, or just want some advice on where to go. I do try to be there when you first arrive but sometimes that doesn't work out.
This house is in the best possible neighborhood! We are located a half block away from Brady street, less then a mile to downtown and water street.
Some of the perks of the location are:
*Less then a 15 min walk to 73 bars and restaurants (every type of food you could want)
*Less then a 15 min walk to several neat shops, and larger stores
*Walkable to 4 grocery stores, including Gloriosos- which wins an award for best deli every year.
*10 min walk to Lakefront brewery, which does daily brew tours and a fish fry and polka dance on fridays.
*A 5 min walk to several bars that provide free shuttles to summerfest.
*A 5 min walk to Jacks bar which has free shuttles to almost all of the festivals, brewers games and major events in Milwaukee.
*A 10 min walk to Veterans park which is located on the lake. The park includes a large, popular sand beach (Bradford) with volley ball, food and a tiki bar. The park also includes several trails for running, walking or biking, a yacht club with boat/jet ski rentals. A kite rental area, segway rentals, a playground and a lagoon where you can rent water bikes, kayaks ect. In the summer they also feature a fish fry and a large outdoor movie.
*10 min walk to Charles Allis Art Musuem
*25 min walk ( Or 8 min Uber) on the lakefront to the Milwaukee Art museum, Betty Brinn's children museum or Discovery world (Aquarium).
*Less then a block away from a bike rental (Bubbler) or a Zipcar.
*Less then a 10 min Uber ride to
** The amtrak station with trains running several times a day to Chicago
** Marcus center for the performing arts
** Harley Davidson Museum
** Milwaukee Market
** Milwaukee Museum
** Third ward (Things such as Splash studios, Fore golf bar, Evo pingpong bar, many neat shops and restaurants)
We are a half a block away from a bus stop, however we recommend Uber. Uber is cheap in Milwaukee, and with our home being centrally located most fairs are $5-10. However the bus located on Brady (the green line) goes directly to the Airport stopping in Bayview, The third ward, Downtown, Water street, North Street and up to the Bayshore mall. Most fun things to do are located with walking distance off the Green line and we wouldn't recommend switching buses as it can be confusing and lead to bad areas of town.
We are located near Zipcars, and bubbler bike rentals. If renting a car street parking is easy to find on our block.
There is no smoking aloud in the house so please smoke outside and throw your buds in the trash.
Video Surveillance: – The Property has external cameras. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the case of a break-in, death, injury, or in the rare stay where house rules are broken, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund.
We also have an indoor camera that we use to monitor our home when empty and is disabled during stays.
Cancellation Policy: please be aware our cancellation policy is set to strict due to the demand for the space. So be sure before booking.
Occupancy Tax: there will be a Wisconsin state occupancy tax of 15.1% on your reservation as well as Airbnb charges during checkout.
Early Check-in: Early check-in is an option and may incur an additional fee depending on check-in time, please ask me about the fee structure if interested in an early check-in.
What to bring: I recommend bringing paper plates, solo cups, and paper towel. While I have plates and cups for your use, disposable ones may be more convenient for your stay if you don't want to clean dishes. All other necessities should be taken care of. Feel free to message me if you would like to know if a particular item is provided.
Snow removal: If it snows during a stay, it is the stays responsibility to clear the driveway and walkways for access as needed. I provide shovels and salt and if the stay is comfortable using a snow blower I can provide access to one for use as well.
Please feel free to message me with any questions on the above information.

The house was awesome and perfect for our stay. Tons of space, cool vibes, and you could tell the property was well cared for. The neighborhood was awesome and I highly recommend this location. We will look to book again in the future.
We had 8 guys ranging in age 29-74 and stayed to play at some of the best golf courses Wisconsin has to offer. This home was perfect for us, several extra beds and plenty of space for relaxing.
There were so many levels and rooms and places to explore! The kids played hide and seek, pool and enjoyed the massage chair along with the adults. There were things we could walk to—a vegan cafe for breakfast, the Lakefront Brewery for a Friday night fish
fry and a free ride on the streetcar to the Public Market for dinner. Out stay was enjoyable and too short!
My friends and I came to Milwaukee for a Bachelor party and Hubbell's home was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out communally or do their own thing if preferred. The neighborhood had bars, and restaurants in walking distance and was a short uber ride to all other major areas. The movie theater made for a great viewing of Top Gun: Maverick. Hubbell was quick to reply and a great host.
We enjoyed and laughed about the maze-like layout of this house. It is set up as a party house with lots of amenities for hanging around, but our group was mostly there for meals and sleeping so didn't take full advantage. The vegetation around the house and particularly along the driveway needs to be whacked back.
Cassie and Hubbell were great hosts and the entire check in process was smooth with keypad locks on the front and back doors. The house is huge and our group easily slept 16 people for a bachelor party without being crammed. The location is just off Brady St which has a bunch of bars and restaurants. We also walked to Lakefront Brewery and MKE Axe throwing. The outdoor area had a driveway that parked 5 cars and a grassy area where we setup bags. Overall we would definitely recommend and stay again when in Milwaukee.

Beautiful home made for large group.
Very nice place to stay. Only draw back is there is a lot of personal breakable items all over the house that you have to keep track of be concerned about. Also dirty laundry and clothes lying around the house. Would be nicer if personal items were put away so as not to have to worry about them. A little too much clutter and nick nacks.

Thank you for the feedback Connie, We are sorry to hear about laundry laying around but don't believe those items were ours. We take pride in making sure our house is in great shape before stays and that nothing is lying around, and place any dirty laundry in the hampers by our laundry machines, but if we missed something we apologize and will make sure we double check during our cleaning process in the future. thanks
Hubble was an excellent host accommodating our special request for early arrival due to the illness of one of our travelers. The ability to climb stairs is important as we lived and slept on three floors. Various beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and the massage chair was fun as was the pool table. Off street parking was ample. The location was great for all the attractions we wanted to visit. The house is owner occupied but we had plenty of space for our 6 person group.
Highly recommend! It was so beautiful and so much space to not only spread out but to all gather in one area. Communication about rules and just with the owners was so helpful and appreciated! Will definitely book again when we go back.
If you're looking for a large Milwaukee property to host your friends and family of ANY age, look no further. Hubbell and Cassie's home is incredible. You may think you know what the house will feel like inside, but once you step in, it fascinates.
There is no shortage of places to sit, relax, sleep, play or party. Where else do you find five bathrooms?!? We were a bachelorette party of 15 girls and no one had to wait for a shower, for a mirror, or for the loo. Good coffee? Check. Movie Theatre screen with popcorn machine? Check. Backyard set-up to die for? Check. Every gadget imaginable? Check. The Amazon Echo system hooked up to the whole house had us rockin' old school Celine Dion and singing our hearts out. The kitchen had every appliance you could think of. We had perfect weather for all of our activities. The clean and beautiful Bradford and Shorewood beaches were super close via car. Brady and Water St. just mere minutes away. We were bummed we couldn't go out because it looked like such a great street with bars and restaurants and coffeeshops! Even if it had rained, we would have been fully entertained by the pool table or the card games or the access to every streaming service imaginable on the many, many flatscreen TVs in the house. Did I mention the high-end massage chair? Heaven. I cannot fault this place at all.
In the middle of a pandemic, Cassie and Hubbell gave us a little piece of normality.
My one suggestion: I would love to know the history of the house! We thought maybe it was a house someone split into two and then combined back into one again? We all had a different theory. It would be fascinating to read about.
Thank you Cassie and Hubbell for a great, great stay!
Great location and size for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend.
The house was very large and accommodating for our group of 11. I could easily see 14-16 people staying here comfortably. Communication was great, location is perfect for restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again.
Great communication by the owner. Lovely and very neat house that is able to accommodate a large group wonderfully. Very fun and friendly neighborhood.
Great location. I loved all the space. Our son got married and we hosted several family events at the house. So much room for everyone to spread out.

Large house and very accomadating. Everything you can imagine is available here
Place was great! House is amazing and the location is even better. There are enough bathrooms and bedrooms to comfortably sleep around 20. The only negative comment I will mention is that there are a lot of breakable items everywhere you turn.

Fantastic Brady Street location, capacious interesting home capable of accommodating large groups.
The location made most of Milwaukee walkable, while having the Brady Street neighborhood right out the door.
Dual kitchens and multiple living areas allow for larger groups to find some element of separation if desired.
The place was clean. However, all fixtures are not completely up to date and some bathroom doors did not lock, so there were a few minor adjustments that had to be made for privacy.
There are multiple TVs throughout the house, including a gaming center on the main floor as well as a pool table.
Cassie was quite responsive to assist with any minor issues or questions that arose. We would definitely consider staying here again!
