About this property
Ski-in/Ski-out Mountain Retreat 70 steps from base area and access to gondola
Experience the best of mountain living in this comfortable ski-in/ski-out condo, perfectly located less than 70 steps from access to the slopes and Wild Blue gondola.
After a day on the mountain, unwind in the building’s hot tub and sauna then relax in the open living space with fireplace and prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
A short walk away are the base area’s dining, bars, and entertainment or hop on the free city bus or uber downtown with many options to cater for all tastes.
With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa, the space accommodates families, couples, or small groups.
I've just renovated both bathrooms and fitted the kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances in November 2025.
The primary goal when furnishing my condo was to make it have the feel of a 'home away from home'.
In the living room you'll find a variety of different card/ board games, DVDs and a coffee/hot chocolate station stocked to get you started for the first couple days of your vacation.
Each bathrooms is equipped with hairdryers, make up remover cloths, and Terra Pure Green Tea shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
In-building coin-operated laundry available for convenience on longer stays. The laundry room has a change machine and detergent available for purchase.
Free parking in the building’s parking lot is limited to one parking pass (ie one vehicle) and there are no assigned spaces. There is paid daytime and overnight parking within walking distance if you are visiting with more than one vehicle.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

About the host
Hosted by Tom Bradbury
I've lived in Steamboat for the last 3 years but am originally from Brighton, England.
I've been fortunate enough to live in 7 and travel to more than 30 countries in a variety of different jobs in the hospitality, conservation, and youth, and travel fields.
I am very happy to call Steamboat home and would love to help make your trip here as special as possible.
I have created a guest book with lots of great local recommendations, but please reach out with any questions you might have!

Why they chose this property
For me, you just can't beat ski-in ski-out access to the mountain! Having the convenience of walking across the road and skiing down to the gondola without having to drive and find parking or get the bus makes this place extra special.
What makes this property unique
When not listed on VRBO, this place is my primary residence so I've done everything I can for that 'home away from home' feel. The living room is kitted out with DVDs, board/card games, and books, and the bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup removal cloths, and hairdryers.
I've equipped the kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals. There is enough coffee/hot chocolate to fuel the first couple days of your vacation until you've had time to grocery shop. The kitchen has foil, baking parchment, saran wrap, ziplocks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and the most common herbs and spices.
I've prepared a guestbook to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, including recommendations for local bars, restaurants, and entertainment.
As a Steamboat local of 3 years, I live right down the road while you're staying at my condo so happy to do anything I can to make your stay more relaxing and fulfilling.
My goal is for your stay to be as comfortable as if you were at home, while still feeling the magic of being vacation in our lovely little ski town.
