• Late August–Labor Day: Water recedes; late-August depths may be ~1–3 ft, limiting swimming. Kayaking may still be possible
• After Labor Day–Winter: Water continues receding and may become shallow or absent near dock, with more lakebed exposed; streams continue flowing toward the deeper cove

It is genuinely difficult to capture everything that this property offers. The hosts have thought of everything…and I mean EVERYTHING. And it is all labeled, listed, diagrammed, or disclosed. Just bring yourself and your essentials for your trip.This is certainly a family-first property, but it would also be the perfect couple retreat, or even a remote work getaway.The part of the lake the home is located on it unbelievably easy to access (roadway I mean), and the actual lake experience is…just magical. The area is clean and peaceful, and the water was just PERFECT. We swam, laid around in floats, had cannon ball contests, etc., for hours. Easy up dock with ladder; big lily pad for kids and adults. Multiple lifejackets (but we still brought our littles their own) and play equipment too!It’s a trek down to the dock, but for my peace of mind as a parent of small children, I needed that distance as a barrier for my peace of mind; the kids had zero complaints and zipped up and down just fine, while I had to stop once to catch my breath on the incline. Something to be mindful of. But, again, it’s more of a positive for me and was one of the points of consideration when choosing a property. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful and easy experience!
