This cabin was built in the 1880s on a cattle ranch the bunkhouse for the cowboys and cook house for the main house next door. Located 2 miles from the small town of Clark Fork Idaho. It has been modernized and updated for the amenities you would expect. It has beautiful views and river frontage with a shared dock for your boat, kayaks, jetskis and other water toys. Enjoy great fishing on the river and Lake Pend Oreille downriver 4 miles from the dock. There is plenty of outdoor adventures here.
Why Choose Clark Fork?** Clark Fork is your gateway to adventure, offering the best of nature's beauty. Encircled by majestic mountains and pristine forests, it's a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in hiking, fishing, and exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the nearby Cabinet Mountains Wilderness and Lake Pend Oreille. Here, every season paints a stunning backdrop for your travels!
Located 1/4 mile from active train railway line and crossing. Trains do run through the night several times and do blow their horn at the crossing. So a light sleeper will not be happy unless you really like trains.
100 Miles from Spokane airport. Also private landing strip next to property with tie down space on the property. Cell Phone reception is spotty for most networks. Verizon network is the best one in the area with reliable reception at the property.
For fishing charters I recommend James at Eagle Charters Idaho in Hope, Idaho

We were the very first renters this property has had. Due to that, there were some things we needed help with. That help came quickly each time. There are some things that need fixing but I have no doubt it will be fixed before the next renters come. The property was beautiful and it was very peaceful to sit on the dock and listen to the river. The nearby train is not an issue (it runs 24 hours a day close by). Our son, who has sleeping issues, slept even better than at home. As we walked the neighborhood, every neighbor waved and said hello. I am a wildlife photographer and there was a big variety to keep my attention. We absolutely loved our visit.
