Individually designed house from the turn of the century in a Dalmatian style with a stunning view of the sea. The surrounding area offers beautiful olive gardens, an old fishing harbour with restaurants, shopping facilities and nearby hiking path connections into the stunning mountain world. It is 900 m to the beach. The house has a complete kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and espresso machine. There is a large garden with a BBQ house, two sunny patios, a small inner courtyard and a living room with a fireplace. Pets are welcome! To Makarska, it is only 5 km. There you will find a lot of shops (supermarket and daily fruit and vegetable market), restaurants, sport options of different types, a rich cultural selection and a sailing harbour.

Tolle Aussicht auf Meer und Berge

Wir haben in diesem dalmatinischen Steinhaus einen entspannten und schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist alt im Sinne von antik und kein Neubau. Die Lage des Hauses ist oberhalb in den Bergen im alten Ortsteil. Es führt eine zweispurige gut ausgebaute Straße dorthin. Makarska und sämtliche Supermärkte sind schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Abends kann man in der Nähe gute Restaurants besuchen oder einfach zu Fuß die Gegend um das Haus erkunden. So sind wir einige Male zu Fuß über Feldwege runter an die Strandpromenade gelaufen (ca. 20 Minuten) Auch auf dem Balkon und der Dachterrasse kann man einen entspannten Abend verbringen. Unsere Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Jutta, es war sehr schön, Sie und Ihren Mann kennenzulernen! Wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder!

Umgebung sehr schön

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen Das Haus ist recht leicht zu erreichen und man ist schnell an denn Stränden mit Auto.. Unser Highlight war die grosse Terasse wo wir jeden Abend saßen und die Sterne und das Mond beobachten konnten Das einzige was ich nicht toll fand das es Ameisen gab die immer über Lebensmittel hergefallen ist man muss sie nur gut Weg schliessen Aber bei so einem Dalmatischen Haus das Geschichte hat ist es das wenigste was man schlecht darstellen kann Was uns gefehlt hat war eine richtige Klimaanlage zwar weht der Nordwind ins Haus rein aber am späten Nachmittag und abends ist es bedrückend.. Trotz allem hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt wir würden wieder kommen.

Altes Haus mit viel Charakter, leicht marodem Charme u. traumhafter Aussicht

Positiv: Die Aussicht auf Meer und Berge ist absolut genial und auf dem/um das Grundstück herum gibt es jede Menge Oliven- und Feigenbäume. Es gibt genug Platz: im Haus, einen Essplatz draußen im Schatten und auch eine Sonnenterrasse. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Negativ: Das Haus liegt unmittelbar an der in die Berge führenden Straße, was man bei regem Ausflugsverkehr auch im Haus nicht überhören kann. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Der Geschirrspüler funktioniert zwar, aber das Geschirr wird nicht immer sauber. Fazit: Die phantastische Aussicht und die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter entschädigen für die Eigenheiten eines alten, aber sehr charmanten Hauses. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Traumhafter Blick abseits vom Trubel, aber nicht abgelegen

Das gemütliche Haus ist das Elternhaus des Besitzers und daher sehr authentisch. Es ist sehr geräumig, so dass wir uns mit vier (erwachsenen und fast erwachsenen) Personen und einem Hund sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Es bietet großartige Ausblicke von allen Fenstern und Terrassen, fantastische Sonnenuntergänge inklusive. Schön wäre es, wenn es, wie abgebildet, wieder einen Tisch mit Stühlen/Bänken im Garten geben würde, dann könnte man die Abende mit dem tollen Grill noch mehr genießen. Es gibt in der Nähe viele schöne, nicht überlaufene Naturstrände, wo auch unser Labrador willkommen war. Die Promenaden von Podgora, Tucepi und Makarska mit ihren Restaurants sind ebenfalls schnell errreichbar.

One week stay

We really enjoyed staying at this renovated dalmatian house! Jutta, the owner, was very kind and we got a warm welcome from her. As she knew we were travelling with small kids, she arranged a baby cot and, as a suprise to us, she even filled a little swimming pool! The house has tree terrasses from which you look out over the sea. We loved the view! The house is very spacious and has all you need. There is a lot of equipment in the kitchen, lots of clean towels and bedlinen,... We had a very pleasant stay! Thank you Jutta!

Very beautiful stay

We highly recommend this destination in which we stayed two weeks. The house is beautiful, very well furnished and gives several amazing views to the sea : a panoramic one on the rooftop, on the first floor balcony and in the garden. One room is downstairs, next to a bathroom, living room, kitchen and balcony, which is convenient for limited mobility persons. The hosts are super nice and welcoming people and are always ready to help. As for Podgora, it is a great destination to enjoy both sea, natural parks and mountains and beautiful cities and villages.

Charme et sérénité sur l'Adriatique

La maison est un havre de paix, fraiche l'été avec ses murs de pierre, pleine d'espaces différents pour que chacun puisse trouver son endroit : un grand salon, de vastes chambres, 2 terrasses vue mer et un jardin ! Nous avons apprécié son ameublement : enfin une maison de location avec une âme, grâce aux meubles anciens, livres, bibelots, tapis... L'accueil de Jutta est chaleureux, et tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. A noter que la distance mer annoncée de 900m est à vol d'oiseau : il faut 10 mi minutes en voiture, ou emprunter un chemin à pied : prévoir 20 minutes descente et 30 minutes remontée. La ballade est vraiment sympa, et permet d'allier farniente plage avec un peu d'activité !

Charming house, stunning views

We had a lovely week staying in Podgora. The house was charming, with plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the roof terrace. It was very hot when we visited so the walk down to Podgora was too much for us in the heat. However it was only a short drive to the beach, shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. The house is situated in a beautiful location surrounded my mountains and sea views.

Beautiful old house in stunning location

We had a wonderful stay at Pogdora. The house was full of character and had the most incredible views to the sea and islands one way and inland to the mountains. It is surprisingly high above the coast and is quite hard work to walk back to in 38 degree heat, but worth it. The house is traditional and does not have air conditioning, but does have a lovely breeze usually. It has a lovely garden and 2 patio areas, plus a great barbecue. Almost all visitors previously have been German and we were surprised that more nationalities had not visited. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

un accueil sincèrement chaleureux par les propriétaires très prévenants dans cette maison authentique, dans un cadre naturel préservé : tout pour plaire, sur les hauteurs de Podgora avec une vue inoubliable du coucher de soleil sur les eaux de l'île de Brac ! Une base idéale pour environner et profiter des richesses de la Croatie : Split, Dubrovnik, Makarska, le Mosor et le parc naturel du Biokovo...

Man fühlt sich schnell nicht mehr als Gast...

Ein tolles Haus mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Wie schon im Titel beschrieben fühlt man sich nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr als Gast sondern richtig heimisch. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Will man mal nicht an einen der viele schönen (z.T. einsamen) Kiesstrände kann man sich auf der großen dachterasse von der sonne und dem tollen panorama verwöhnen lassen. die abendlichen sonnenuntergänge lassen sich bei leckerem essen und wein von der terasse aus genießen. hunde sind willkommen!
