Venture out and you can take advantage of the home's easy access to outdoor pursuits by kayaking on the Nelson Reservoir or hiking in the Sipe White Mountain Wildlife area. Visit the R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch and then retreat to the property for dinner or Alpine's famous FoxFire Restaurant for live music and great food.

My boys and I had a wondeful time at the Tara Cabin. It was cozy, but spacious and roomy enough for us all, clean, well equipped with everything we needed, super comfy beds and love the heaters throughout the house, even in the bathroom. We will definitely be back!
