This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a host. I did NOT receive the unit I originally paid for, and the host canceled on me after already confirming it was okay to have guests stop by. She then started making up rules throughout the night that were never listed anywhere on the original booking.On top of that, she refused to offer any kind of refund, even after completely failing to provide what I paid for. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she was rude, nasty, and extremely disrespectful.I stayed calm, respectful, and understanding the entire time, yet she still escalated the situation and even called the police on me for no valid reason.The area itself felt unsafe sketchy neighborhood, loud neighbors, and random people roaming around. Completely uncomfortable and nothing like what was advertised.To make things worse, VRBO did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation.Overall, this host is unprofessional, dishonest, and has a terrible attitude. Do NOT book with her—save your money and avoid the stress.
