Our stay in Manitou was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a blend of comfort, adventure, and thoughtful hospitality. The home itself is clean, cozy, and well equipped, with those little touches - good coffee, soft linens, clear instructions - that make a trip feel effortless. What truly set this place apart were the experiences that came with it. The guided outdoor adventure was a highlight of our entire trip. Our host clearly knows the area inside and out and their passion for Colorado’s landscapes made the outing unforgettable. Whether we were learning about local history, discovering hidden trails, or just soaking in the views, it felt like we were exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than following a generic tour.Another huge perk was the use of the car included. It made getting around incredibly convenient- no rental counter hassles, no extra fees, just grab the keys and go. Having reliable transportation opened up the whole region to us, from Garden of the Gods, to harder to reach trails, to the charming shops of downtown and Old Colorado City. Between the warm hospitality, the unique guided experience, and the convenience of having the car at our disposal, this place delivered far more than a place to sleep. It gave us a true Colorado adventure. They even had bikes to use but it was January and a snow storm rolled in so we didn’t use them. We left feeling inspired, refreshed, and already talking about when we can come back
