About the host
Hosted by Matthew
We’re longtime lovers of the Pacific Northwest and designed this lakehouse to be the kind of place we would want to escape to ourselves — peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed without feeling fussy. We value privacy, quiet mornings, good coffee, and time outdoors, and we’ve tried to build those same simple pleasures into the experience here.
We enjoy hosting because we know how meaningful it is to find a place that truly lets you unwind. Whether guests are celebrating something special, working remotely with a view, or just needing a reset by the water, we want the home to feel easy, welcoming, and restorative. We give guests space to enjoy the property fully, but we’re always available if anything is needed.

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it offers something rare: true waterfront calm that’s still walkable and connected. The lake is peaceful and inviting, with no-bank access that makes it effortless to step from the yard straight into the water. Mornings are quiet and still, and evenings bring beautiful light across the lake.
At the same time, you’re not isolated. You can walk to local shops, dining, parks, and trails, and it’s an easy drive to the greater Seattle area when you want more activity. It strikes a balance between retreat and convenience, which is exactly what we were looking for.

What makes this property unique
What sets this home apart is the combination of refined design and true, usable waterfront living. With 42 feet of private no-bank frontage and a floating dock, you can launch paddleboards, swim, or simply sit at the edge of the water without stairs or steep access.
Inside, the craftsman architecture, warm hardwood floors, and large windows create sweeping lake views from every level. The covered patio with skylights, fire pit, BBQ, EV charger, and provided paddleboards and bikes make the experience feel complete rather than minimal.
It’s not just a house on the lake. It’s a thoughtfully designed lakeside retreat that blends privacy, comfort, and convenience in one place.
