We truly enjoyed the location of this property. Very close to subway terminals, which got us around the city without any problems. The house was cleaned and ready for us when we arrived.

Location was PERFECT. The apartment was spacious with a full functional kitchen and comfortable beds. There were a lot of stairs (32) to reach the apartment uppermost level. This is a very safe neighborhood and pedestrian friendly. Communication before and after were EXCELLENT. We will certainly stay here again should we come back to NY.

Overall, the stay was comfortable and the property met most of our expectations. However, I do want to note that the bathroom was missing a couple of basic amenities. There were no washcloths provided and no bath soap available for guests. These are small items, but they are typically expected in a rental and would have made the stay a bit more convenient. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

It was a frustrating experience to say the least. I was on a work trip with coworkers and was shocked when I received photos from my coworkers upon check in showing the apartment in complete disarray. Beds not made, pillowcases, sheets soiled. Trash, dishes and prior guests clothing everywhere. Side note: we were offered an early check in at an additional cost.Mistakes happen, the response is the real disappointment. I immediately sent photos of the items mentioned above to the host and got no apology. Just got a reply stating the cleaners have been notified. It was a timely response but included no inclination that a huge mistake had been made. I feel the host treated the situation as if it were no big deal. Ultimately, the cleaners arrived and the room was livable approximately 3.5 hours after I was told it was ready. Still no apology, no attempt to make up for the major inconvenience

Carl is a wonderful host. We communicated often, and he checked in to make sure everything was well. The space is amazing. It’s on 2 levels: the living room, dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on one level, and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the 2nd level. The ac is great, and there are many tvs. There’s a washer-dryer, dishwasher, and lots of closets. We were generations staying there and it was perfect for us.
