My stay at this VRBO property was very disappointing and ended early due to multiple issues. The property looked quite different from the listing photos. Upon check-in, I found food waste in the kitchen sink from a previous guest, and the floors appeared dirty. I sent photos to the host, who responded promptly and arranged for cleaners to come the next day. The mosquito problem was severe, with mosquitoes continuously coming from the bathroom, making it difficult to sleep through the night. The linens also had an overwhelming bleach smell that was uncomfortable. The most serious issue occurred on the second day when I saw sewage backing up into the bathtub. This was unsanitary and unacceptable. While the host apologized and eventually found someone to address the issue, I no longer felt comfortable staying at the property and decided to check out early. The maintenance guys clearly mentioned it was a temporary fix and there was a bigger issue. Communication was also difficult because the host would only communicate by text, even when I requested a phone call regarding the urgent plumbing issue. Although the host responded to messages and attempted to address some the issues, the overall experience fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this property.
