This detached group house is spread over 3 floors and is located between the well-known ski villages of Westendorf and Brixen im Thale. You occupy this group home entirely on your own. There are 7 bedrooms and it is perfect for large families, groups of friends or a sports team. The group house is located on a farm and is surrounded by a 100m2 large green area with meadows full of flowers and trees. Lovely in nature and plenty of room for everyone!

For a wonderful day in the snow on the white slopes, you can head to both Westendorf and Brixen im Thale. In both villages, ski lifts take you to one of Austria's largest interconnected ski areas; Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental. Enjoy an adventurous winter sports holiday here.
In summer, in the immediate vicinity you can already take beautiful hiking or cycling trips through the impressive mountain world around Brixen im Thale from the Hohe Salve via the Brechhorn to the Gaisberg. The forest is already 300 metres from the holiday home. Taking it easy for a day? Enjoying the Austrian sunshine and fresh mountain air? Then read a good book in the holiday home's sunbathing lawn. Here you will find parasols and garden furniture. In the evening, enjoy a delicious barbecue together while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains.

Zeer vriendelijk onthaal, voldoende ruimte, geen lawaai van andere kamers, mooie skiopbergruimte met botverwarmer, kleine keuken voor 20 personen, maar extra tafel in salon. We gaan nog wel eens terug... op 2 km van piste, gemakkelijk parkeren

Aankomst was prima. We waren met een grote groep en ieder kwam apart. Sommigen kwamen voor 15u maar dit was geen probleem na overleg! Top dus! Accommodatie was meer dan goed. Zeer ruime kamers met veel verschillende opties qua aantal bedden. Na overleg ook meerdere babybedjes kunnen krijgen. Erg fijn! Schoon beddengoed, echter was het handig geweest om 1 of 2 sets schoon beddengoed te hebben. Wij waren met veel kinderen en dat zorgt nog wel eens voor was. Badlinnen was ook prima, werd zelfs halverwege de week verwisseld voor schone. Wel misten we een paar dingen wat het verblijf makkelijker zou maken -magnetron -broodrooster -mogelijk toch ook een wasmachine (in zo'n groot huis komen vaak ook gezinnen met kinderen, dan is een wasmachine erg handig) Meer dan zat keukenspullen en servies. Schoon sanitair en prima woonkamer! Afstand tot de skilift was in 5 minuten te berijden. Wandelend naar de winkel vonden wij prima maar was wel even zware met kinderwagen. Omgeving was erg mooi! Genoeg mogelijkheden om te wandelen en de langlaufroutes lopen er vlak bij langs. Wij zijn geweest om te skien, zeer mooi gebied! Al met al een zeer geslaagd verblijf!

De eerste week van mei verbleven we in dit huis met 3 gezinnen. We hadden voldoende ruimte zodat we voldoende privacy hadden. Ondanks de datering van het interieur was er goed schoongemaakt en was de ontvangst hartelijk. De bedden voldeden nog net, maar zijn wel binnenkort aan vervanging toe. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld in de bergen en de bossen vanuit het huis, alleen was het heel de week koud en regenachtig. Gelukkig konden we de kachel lekker opstoken en hebben we heerlijk eieren gebakken op het houtgestookte vuurtje in de plattebuiskachel. Een klein nadeel was wel dat er tegen het huis een koeienstal zit en dat de mest buiten wordt gegooid. Dit ruik je wel als je buiten komt.

Ondanks vele dagen regen hebben wij genoten van onze vakantie in Feilgrub. Het is een wat ouder huis (bauernhof) maar heel erg netjes en verzorgd. (Ik voelde me net Heidi hihihi). De eigenaresse is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Zij wilde zelfs na een week het beddegoed verschonen en minstens 2 x per week kregen we nieuwe handdoeken. We gaan beslist nog eens terug naar Feilgrub. Het is ons zeer goed bevallen.

Onze ski vakantie in januari 2015 was in 1 woord gezegd heerlijk. Het vakantiehuis Feilgrub is op loop afstand van het dorp 20 min. goed voor de wandelaars en de honden. Het huis staat in een rustig gedeelte dus van buren en verkeer geen last. Het dorp Westendorf is een leuk en compleet skidorp. Het ski gebied is uitstekend en lekker rustig.

We went there as a group of 14 adults, for skiing. The location of the house was good. 2 main ski areas very close. Of course if there was more snow things would be difficult for the cars to move from the house. The rooms in the house were either very spacious (that is good) or extremely small. One did not even have a closet. 14 adults is the absolute limit for this house. I think for 13 it is adequate. The 3 bathrooms also limit the people to 14. Especially the shower that is INSIDE one of the rooms, it is rather a joke. The whole room would be moist and of course if one would shower the rest would see him\/her. The house did not have a central heating. You had to light a fire in both the living room and the kitchen. It was really warm with that but someone had to do it every day morning and afternoon and look after the fire so it would not go out. And it took about 30 min to an hour to warm the room. Also the house is located next to a farm or something and the smell was very ...interesting every day.
