This ocean-themed, light-filled 1-bedroom luxury villa with an additional sleeper sofa for little ones (ONLY) at Hamilton Cove in Avalon on beautiful Santa Catalina Island INCLUDES A GOLF CART (valued at $40+ per hour in town!). FREE WIFI, Netflix, BBQ with propane included. Looks out from the bedroom, living room and patio over the peaceful ocean. A private white-sand beach, pool, spa and workout room are all just about 100 steps away! Grill shrimp and veggies for dinner on the mood-lit patio, the lights of the mainland faint in the distance. Master Suite features luxurious pillow-top king sleep comfort with a wake-up call from the vivid sunrise! Bathroom features two entries, double sinks, tub and shower combo with detachable flex shower head. Expertly cleaned and sanitized, this beautiful villa is a perfect choice for a couple to share a spacious king bed, and will accommodate up to two additional small children or one teen (ONLY) on a sleeper sofa featuring a memory foam mattress.
Full kitchen, all linens provided; built-in fully-lighted ironing board. A cheery design theme featuring Catalina, ocean and mermaid art, plus all amenities mentioned (and mini-golf and tennis courts) make this the perfect getaway at a great value!

VALUE GUARANTEE - Why is La Casa Sirena such a great value? Unlike some big companies, we are proud to charge only what our cleaning company charges us with nothing tacked on, and NO "golf cart insurance," no "administrative fee," no "processing fee," no "mandatory damage waver" or any other fees from us! (The service fee you'll see is charged by VRBO.) For our longer-term guests: We apply a 5% discount to a stay of 7 consecutive nights, and a 10% discount for a month's stay (28 consecutive nights).
PLEASE NOTE that like most units at Hamilton Cove, ours has stair-only access. While each of our 58 stairs has a beautiful ocean view, please consider the access requirements of all guests prior to booking. Additionally:
1) Only the number of guests identified during registration and names sent to the property manager will be allowed in the unit.
2) We love animals but our unit is allergy-friendly, so you will have to leave beloved pets at home. Certified Service Dogs are allowed, but because deep cleaning is required if ANY animal has been inside the property, a $250 will be assessed. Thank you for your understanding.
3) The HOA will fine us if you bring a drone, and we would have to pass that hefty charge on to you, so best to leave your drone safe at home!
4) No shoe or hair dyes or any chemicals that would damage our property are allowed please.
5) We are a non-smoking, allergy-friendly property.

Mel Dinkel and Leslie Baer Dinkel met on non-other than Santa Catalina Island. A few years later, we were married at Descanso Beach (highly recommended!) in Avalon. Catalina holds so many memories for us, and since we are not on the Island all the time, we wanted to create an 'affordable luxury' accommodation where people could make their own memories! Since lots of families come to Catalina, it had to be fun -- thus, 'La Casa Sirena' (The Mermaid House) which includes both Catalina and Mermaid themes. And now, we have two locations: This one at Hamilton Cove which accommodates up to 4, AND La Casa Sirena at Bahia Vista A-05 which accommodates 6!
We wanted this property to be romantic for couples, and so, we added a super-comfortable KING bed, and a barbecue and lighting to take full advantage of the patio where while dining you will enjoy sweeping ocean views. In short, we wanted our properties to be comfortable enough to be our home away from home, and yours too!
