We had a wonderful stay at this great condo. Very well located, well-equipped kitchen and nicely laid out. Owner and concierge were very responsive and lovely to deal with.
This was a great location for Vail! We loved the convenience of the shuttles to take us to the village, and the fact we could use the Hyatt amenities was a big plus. Would recommend and we'll be coming back!
The condo was very nice, loved the amenities at Grand Hyatt. Place was clean, beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. Great location!! Would stay here again!
Second time we have stayed here and the host is fantastic and location is great. We have 3 children under 8 and this has been the best location we found in the area with the amenities and convenience of kitchen/washer/dryer for the family. Looking forward to staying here again.
The property is nice. There are a lot of steep stairs. The reservation process needs work. If a change is made in a reservation, it would be better if the renter was contacted instead of just given another spot. We would have liked to say why we picked the unit we picked. It would have saved a lot of time and effort later.
Second time staying in this property. Great for families. Super convenient with amenities from Grand Hyatt. Love the addition of the Sonos system this year!
We were in Vail for a wedding and made a vacation out of it. This property was very convenient and well maintained. Easily accessible to the creek trail to Lionshead and East Vail.
Nice condo in Vail. The hotel shuttle to Lionshead and Vail village is very convenient. Access to lift 20 is an easy 4 minute walk and the venture sports rental and valet service was great!
Communication with the owner and the property manager was fantastic. Quaint and very clean. Property was just as subscribed. House was fully stocked with the exception of salt and pepper Which is just a minor thing. Had a great time.
We had a wonderful stay in Vail and found the condo extremely clean! Check-in/out was very easy with clear communications from the resort beforehand. It was so nice to have a complete and functional kitchen especially since we were in Vail for a week and wanted to eat at the place during our stay. It was a truly a home away from home. Many complements to owners who thought about everything you might want or need when you travel to Vail!
Very well kept townhouse/condo with plenty of space. The Gore Valley trail is a short 2 minute walk out the front door, and all the hotel amenities are 3 minutes away. Walkable to both Lionshead and (with a smidgeon more effort) to Vail Village. Check-in was quick and easy. The washing machine did not work but maintenance arrived within two hours and fixed it w/o any issues. Great parking (garage and driveway space) made coming and going a breeze. Superb communications with James and the Hyatt property folks throughout. Would stay again!

About the host

We are an Austin, Texas family with two teenagers who have grown up skiing Vail since childhood. The family love for the mountains and snow has only grown over the years. The eldest has loved Colorado so much that he is now at Colorado School of Mines. The boys long ago over took us in mountain abilities and we just do our best to try and keep up with them on the slopes in the winter or fly fishing in the summer.
Why they chose this property
We looked at many properties in Vail and chose this one because of its amazing location, family-friendly amenities, and quiet from highway noise. Being able to ski in/ski out is fabulous for families that want to ski different hours. Plus, it allows easy access to home for midday naps for toddlers. Ski lessons are a just a green run away from the top of the Cascade lift.
The Grand Hyatt Vail resort offers many family-friendly activities including s'mores and crafts. The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs are a must for our children.
When it's evening and time for them to sleep, there is complete quiet - no highway noise, no village hubbub, no stumbling partygoers. We thought that we might miss the Vail village scene, but it is only a short shuttle ride away and the babysitter can keep the kids easily at peace.
What makes this property unique
Ski Valet. When you first arrive, leave your skis and boots with the hotel valet where they will keep your boots dry and warm for you each morning. Walk to the ski valet in the morning by going a short distance up the main road, then right down the service road, up the metal stairs and across the hotel driveway directly to the ski valet. This is the easiest route. Remember your ski/boot number as this is how they will get your equipment each morning. At the end of your trip, you can request to have your equipment ready for you at the hotel valet for easy loading and departure.
Renting Equipment. If you need to rent equipment for adults or kids, Venture Sports is next to the ski valet and offers excellent service and equipment. They are not the most affordable but the convenience and quality is well worth it. All guests get 20% discount at Venture Sports.
When you are ready to go skiing in the morning, walk up to the ski valet and tell the ski and boot attendants both your number. They will put your skis outside on the rack and give you your boots. After your boots are on, hand them your shoes and tell them your number. Now your ready to hop on the lift (chair 20).
