About this property

Luxe Eagles Nest Home: 3-Tier Deck, Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Sunset Views!

A Luxe Mountain Masterpiece in the Lodges at Eagles Nest
Views! Views! Views! From the recently expanded back deck at Bearly Behavin' in the Vineyard Village, we can see five mountain ranges—how many will you spot? This luxury home offers an exquisite escape with breathtaking sunset views of the mountains. Not just a house, but a showstopper, this singular luxury lodge is set against a stunning backdrop of sunset-kissed ridgelines, offering refined comfort, dramatic design, and unforgettable indoor and outdoor living.

Welcome to a beautiful open-concept living space that seamlessly blends the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Soaring 30-foot vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows frame sweeping mountain views, filling the great room with natural light. Step onto the back deck through the sliding doors in the living or dining room, which open to create an outdoor living experience. Fine finishes, warm wood accents, and curated decor combine rustic charm with modern luxury.

The main floor features a gourmet kitchen ideal for cooking and gathering, complete with a coffee bar and a beverage center separate from the fridge. Equipped with modern appliances and stylish cabinetry, it's a chef's dream. The dining area boasts a hardwood table that seats eight, with additional seating for four at the kitchen island.

The living room is a cozy haven, complete with a gas fireplace that adds warmth and ambiance. A leather sectional sofa invites relaxation, while two comfortable chairs and a recliner create a delightful seating area. Watch your favorite shows on the large-screen Smart TV, or unwind with a good book. Notably, the living room features deck access via sliding doors, enabling seamless movement between indoor and outdoor living spaces. The sliders open directly to the family room and the covered outdoor deck. Whether you're enjoying the warmth of the fireplace, preparing a meal in the well-appointed kitchen, or basking in the natural light and fresh air on the deck, this open living area offers the perfect combination of comfort and functionality for daily life. There's a Sonos sound system with a Move speaker to carry the music outside, and high-speed Wi-Fi with Eero Pro 7 mesh routers allows you to stream your favorite platforms on the Smart TVs. You can take that video conference call if necessary, but we'd prefer you use the shaker and martini glasses to craft your favorite beverage and soak in the views of high-country living.

Step onto the expansive three-tiered deck and prepare to be amazed. Start your morning on the sunning platform with four rocking chairs, or enjoy coffee in the covered outdoor living room, where comfortable sectional couches invite you outside. Plush cushions surround a stunning wood-burning fireplace and a mounted TV. Grill out on the Blackstone gas grill and dine alfresco at the outdoor dining table, then soak in the private hot tub as the stars emerge over the mountains. Later, follow the stone path to the fire pit in the yard, where Buster the Bear—a wood carving from a local artist—beckons you to join him. It's the perfect spot for evening conversations, S'mores, and stargazing. With almost three acres of property, you can enjoy complete privacy without looking over anyone else's roof or backyard.

Back inside, the main-level primary suite is a serene retreat featuring a king bed, private deck access with two rocking chairs, long-range views, and a spa-style ensuite bathroom with a massive tiled shower and a soaking tub. The shower includes a relaxing rainhead, a spacious roundhead, and a convenient wand for a strong, refreshing spray. Thanks to the tankless water heater, you'll always have plenty of hot water for a comfortable experience. There's even a "glam" station in the primary suite, perfect for anyone who needs a magnifying mirror and more than 10 minutes to get ready.
The second king suite is on the main level, on the opposite side of the house. It offers a king bed, a large-screen Smart TV, two swiveling chairs, and an ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort.

Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the great room and includes a sofa with a pull-out bed and game tables for endless fun. Two beautifully furnished bedrooms are also located on this level—one with a king bed and the other with a double-over-double bunk bed and a pull-out trundle for the little ones. Custom built-in stairs provide easy access to the top bunk, eliminating the need to climb a ladder. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower-tub, offering additional space and privacy for guests, making it perfect for families with children.

The long gravel driveway is relatively flat and can easily accommodate several cars. An electric vehicle charging station is conveniently located at the front of the house, so you don't need to bring your own cables or an extension cord. A whole-house generator provides peace of mind, and at an elevation of approximately 4,100 feet, the temperature is often several degrees cooler than even downtown Banner Elk.
