You can come home from your daily adventures to sip a mug of hot cocoa on the balcony, warm tired limbs by the gas fireplace, and prepare dinner in the full kitchen. On the grounds, you'll also have access to common amenities such as a heated outdoor pool, a hot tub that's protected from the elements by a glass dome, a sauna, a games room, a laundry facility, a fitness center, and storage lockers for your skis and outdoor gear. Follow the access trail leading to Blackcomb Mountain for a gorgeous day of skiing world-class slopes. You can also reach the Whistler base area and Whistler Village by catching the free local bus #5, which picks up in front of the building. In the spectacular summer months, you'll be a quarter-mile walk from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club and Whistler's Valley Trail, and less than a mile south of Lost Lake Park. Whistler Village, a delight in every season full of hundreds of upscale shops and restaurants, is only half a mile west as well.
