Welcome to Washmere House - an exceptional, character-filled escape nestled in the heart of historic Colerne, just a short drive from the beautiful spa city of Bath and the rolling countryside of Wiltshire. This stunning Grade II Listed former yeoman’s house has been lovingly renovated by the owners whilst still retaining it's heritage and charm - offering a comfortable, unique and memorable stay.

The space
This pretty cottage is on the edge of the Cotswolds and has the advantage of being in a beautiful rural village whilst only a stone's throw away from the World Heritage City of Bath.

The house is simply furnished, clean, comfortable and functional rather than styled or heavily accessorised, and best suited to guests who value space, location and character.

There are three pretty bedrooms; a Super King with en-suite, a King and a Double bedroom. One of the bedrooms has baby changing facilities.

The heart of the home is the inviting sitting room – a lovely place to gather after exploring the countryside. The living room also has a large dining table, and there is a high chair if required. There is a large, well equipped galley kitchen adjacent. There is a separate utility/WC with washing machine, ironing board and drying rack.

Externally, there is a pretty south facing garden to the rear with patio furniture for sunny days. To the side of the house is parking for 2 cars. Please note our neighbours have pedestrian access so please ensure there is room for them to walk through when you park.

The cottage is brilliantly located; Bath is teeming with things to do and only a very short drive away. We are also on the edge of the Cotswolds, with lots of pretty villages to visit and countryside walks on the doorstep.
