Great location and great stay overall. The house was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It felt like a quintessential New Orleans home with lots of character, charm, and fun quirks. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating as well. We'd happily stay here again!
Such a fun place to stay! The house has a ton of personality and felt way more special than a typical rental. Great spot to come back to after a day of exploring and hanging out around the city. Everything was easy and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer!
I highly recommend this house! Our group loved staying here The house is a beautiful, old and charming New Orleans home with great decor. It’s like a private hotel. The location was great too. We walked pretty much everywhere. We would stay here again. Thank you for a memorable trip, we will be back.
Loved this house! Came to New Orleans with my family and this house was perfect for what we needed. Big and spacious for our group. Bedding was top notch. I haven't slept that well in a rental before. It was very clear that the owners put a lot of thought into this house. They were also very responsive and attentive. You can tell they care! I would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Let’s start with the good: Great location, close to the French quarters Spacious house for our party of 9 Not so great: - Strange men sitting on our front porch in front of our door - The backyard was filled with old mattresses and garbage, we couldn’t use it.House is in a historic black neighborhood across from the oldest black Catholic Church in the country and the new owners say nothing about the history of the area or house (it was owned by famous black mortician) - The house is filled with old dusty Victorian furniture, with a photo of james dean to greet you but nothing about the historical nature of the neighborhood. - there is a bathroom upstairs that is in a bedroomAnd it would be beneficial to add a door so that those who are not sleeping in that room can use it too and not disturb anyone. The floors and some finishes were unfinished such as a door with ripped wallpaper and unpaired or varnished floors with nails sticking out. All in all it could be beautiful but it just didn’t make the mark. For a last min affordable choice during a busy weekend it was fest but the house was creepy and dusty and led us to not wanting to spend much time there as a family.
