The check in process was difficult. There was a note in the listing to access the lock box next to the main door and a photo indicating the lockbox was next to a specific unit. However, the key from the lockbox did not work on that unit, which turned out to be occupied. The occupant directed us to another door, but the key did not work there either. When retuening to the listening, no specific ubit was mentioned and the host did not answer repeated phone calls when trying to check-in. The host responded to messages directing me to send photos to the number that they were not answering. Turns out some messages were delayed in receipt which contributed to confusion. The issue was eventually resolved and the host directed me to the correct unit. Upon checking in, the bathroom was not fully cleaned, but otherwise the unit was as described and the stay was pleasant enough. The kitchen was not fully stocked, and pots and pans were extremely limited for cooking. The neighborhood was relatively quite, however there is noise pollution from the airport. The park across the street was great for our dogs!

Mercedes is an excellent host, she responds quickly to any concerns. The location is very convenient to the airport, restaurants, and supermarkets, all within walking distance. The area feels safe, and there’s a nearby park where you can exercise; I never felt unsafe walking at night. There is also a laundromat about three blocks away, plus two spots that serve delicious Cuban pizzas and food, where I loved the batidos (milkshakes) at both places. I have spent one month at the property so far, and my overall experience was very good.Thank you so much Mercedes.
