Excellent Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at OIB and in this home! The owners were so nice and accommodating starting from the few questions I had about the area at booking! This was our first time staying on Ocean Isle, but everything we needed was just a short drive or walk. The house was so clean and the location to the beach access was great! Loved the back view of the marsh, so relaxing for my elderly parents, who stayed on that porch most of the week!

We had the most amazing time at Longleaf on OIB! Blake and Emily truly thought of everything to make this house feel like a home for their guests. It was stocked with all of the essentials - from cleaning products, beach gear, to kid supply’s and cooking utensils. It was spotless and was decorated very modern - they thought of every detail! The house was gorgeous and the view was spectacular! We can’t wait to be back!

Fabulous family reunion

We celebrated my in-laws 60th wedding at OIB. The home was perfect for our group. My in-laws loved coffee on the deck overlooking the marsh. The teenagers loved the quick walk to the beach and modern look and feel if the house. The beds, couches, and furnishings were so comfortable and everything was so clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything we could need. I loved that everyone was so happy. We will be back to Longleaf again.

Marsh Birding and Ocean Adventures

From the moment we walked in the immaculate house, we were greeted by the expansive windows across the back with a panoramic marsh view, where we enjoyed daily bird watching before heading to the beach. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The house had a nice aesthetic with updated furnishings and bathroom finishes. Everything we needed for a great family getaway was available to us, including the beneficial Shibumi beach shade, beach wagon and chairs. Loved the location of the house, being a quick walk to the beach access, plus being a mile away from the center of OIB gave us plenty of space on the beach. Hosts gave great instructions and were very responsive.
