About this property
Restored Family Homestead, A Cozy Bristol Retreat
Stay in our beautifully restored, 100‑year‑old family home just minutes from downtown Bristol. This cozy 3BR retreat sleeps up to 9 and blends historic charm with modern comforts. Enjoy a full kitchen, spacious dining area, smart TVs, a welcoming front porch, a back deck with seating, and a new backyard fire pit. Perfect for families and groups looking for comfort, character, and convenience.
The space
This cozy, character-filled retreat blends modern comfort with more than a century of history, making it the perfect place for families or groups looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the charm of the Tri Cities area. With space to sleep up to 9 guests, the home offers three comfortable bedrooms (one king, one queen and one full), a futon that converts to a extra-large twin-size bed, and two twin trundle beds. You’ll also find two full bathrooms — one with a tub/shower combo and the other featuring the original clawfoot tub our great grandparents installed, completely refurbished and updated with a shower fixture.
The home’s layout is designed for gathering: a fully equipped kitchen with essentials for home cooked meals, a dining table that seats eight, and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces. Enjoy morning coffee on the front porch rocking chairs or unwind on the back deck with a picnic table, swing, and additional seating. Don’t miss the newly added backyard fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings and s’mores under the Tennessee sky. Each bedroom includes a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, and the primary bedroom also features an electric fireplace insert for added coziness.
Other things to note:
We are in love with our great grandparents' home that they built themselves and are really proud of the remodel work we have done on the home, however keep in mind that the home is more than 100 years old. The original hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful, but they are not even everywhere so please watch your step. The original doors -- and their hardware -- on the exterior and interior are charming and nostalgic, but they stick sometimes so you might have to put your weight into it to open or pull toward you when you're locking them.
