Wonderful! Could sit on the porch or around the pool and hear the chatter of birds. Neighborhood is very quiet. Home is beautiful and furnished beautifully. I wish we could have stayed longer because it was everything we were hoping for. We will be back again!

About the host

Born and raised in PA, I moved to Florida in 1996. My husband and I of fifteen years decided to give others an opportunity to enjoy our slice of paradise. We built our home in 2014 and added the enclosed pool area in 2021. We sincerely hope that our guests enjoy the nautical decor and unique space that we have created. There's no place like it.

Why they chose this property

McGregor Blvd. corridor is the place to be. Close to everything including the historic district, Edison & Ford Estates, river, beaches, baseball stadiums, downtown, shopping, and night life.

What makes this property unique

Our property has existed since the Edison era. My husband owned a 800 sq. ft. home on the property that was built in the early 1900s. In 2014 we decided to build a larger home on the property; my husband took the floor boards of his 1900s house and made a wall in the office with them, which you can see today. Another fun fact is that he proposed to me at the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC which is in the Pisgah Forest. Later we found out that the floors in his original 1900s house were from the Pisgah Forest.
