DO NOT stay here until this property is updated.We had issues from the moment we arrived. There were no clear instructions for parking or access, and the host did not respond. We had to ask a security guard just to find the entrance, and we were never provided proper gate or check-out details.This is not a property I would typically book, but we needed a last-minute place for 1.5 nights after extending our stay. We expected “outdated,” not a unit that would impact our comfort this much.The condition was far worse than expected. There was a strong stale odor upon entry. The unit is very worn and poorly maintained, wall damage, excessive scratches, peeling and dirty cabinets, stained barstools, and a couch we didn’t feel comfortable using. The curtains were filthy and torn. The beds and pillows were also very uncomfortable.The condition really affected our stay. My husband spent most of the time on the balcony because he wasn’t comfortable inside. We even stood to eat in the kitchen. We considered paying for another rental, that’s how uncomfortable it was.The only positive is the location and view, but it does not justify the condition.VRBO customer service was responsive and think they did their best to resolve the issue. The host was unresponsive to VRBO as well. I strongly recommend choosing a different rental until this unit is properly updated.
