Absolutely beautiful location and well-kept property.
Breathtaking views, very well-kept property and beautiful clean private beach makes this one of the best stays we've had at the Gulf. Also, being so close to the Naval Museum gave us an opportunity to attend the mind-blowing Blue Angels practice. We can't wait to go back!
Our family had a wonderful time at LaPlaya! The condo was absolutely perfect for our group of six. Plenty of room for all of us! We would definitely stay here again!!

Loved it!
Very nice, not too crowded. Security staff was absolutely amazing (Linda). We will be back for sure quickly.
The complex is very well-maintained. The unit itself was fabulous. The wall of windows is the largest I’ve ever seen at the beach and the balcony was gigantic having three beds three baths plus a powder room highly recommend this unit will stay again.
My daughter-in-law found La Playa 1102 online. It was all that we expected and more. Easy online reservations. Condo manager called the first day to see if we needed anything. The toilet in the half bath wouldn’t flush and maintenance was there within two hours. It’s a great place to spend a vacation!
Nice property with beautiful view:)
We enjoyed our stay...
Had trouble with finding the condo ( wrong road on listing address) and incomplete code for gate to enter property and building caused a little frustration upon arrival. Took about an hour to get it answered through management. Overall stay was very pleasant

Parking problems: only one spot allowed for a 3BR unit. Coordinating offsite parking is a pain.

Really liked the layout of the condo and the big balcony.
Great place to stay. EVERYONE had a great time.
I just hate that left my rolling pin my Daddy made for me and my biscuit cutter. I would be so upset but I lost him last year. I called the d ray after we left and spoke to someone one in the call center and was told I would be contacted in 24-48 hours but as of today 8/30/23 I’ve heard from no one but it doesn’t surprise me at all.

Hi, Wanda, thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to read that your recent experience was not satisfactory, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will continue to work with both our local staff and the homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you.
We rented this space at the last minute, so we didn’t have many properties to choose from. We are so pleased that we landed on this La Playa townhouse. Only 3 to 4 units per floor; lots of space for 6 to 8 people, and 3.5 bathrooms made availability of those rooms super convenient! Speaking of convenience, it is VERY close to Publix, Target, Walmart, and also a seafood market (under the bridge) and sufficient restaurants. It is situated right on a private beach with ability to rent chairs and umbrella, and it was not crowded when we were there. It is away from the thicker traffic (it’s in between the busier parts of Pensacola and Gulf Shores). It was a perfect place to remain semi-isolated during the pandemic.

Nice place - watch out for fees from Wyndham
This is not your typical Pensacola condo. There are only 3 or 4 units per floor. The condo is roomy and well appointed and the people are Resortquest are nice and helpful. There is limited parking outside (only one reserved spot per condo). One major deficiency is that we could hear the people in the condo above us (they liked to run around, move furniture and play with marbles).
My major disappointment with this trip was not the condo but rather Wyndham. I booked the condo through VRBO and paid a 200 fee for the pleasure of using the VRBO site. My trip reflected the rental and VRBO fee and charged me an additional 425.00. After spending well over an hour on the phone with VRBO to figure out the mysterious charge, turns out Wyndham charges their fee as well. So I ended having to pay both VRBO and Wyndham fees. This is ludicrous as the charges totaled more than a nights stay.

Andrea, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at La Playa! Your guest experience is our top priority. Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your vacation after you returned home. I understand your frustration with the fees. Yes- it is true that VRBO charges a booking fee to use their site. This is a VRBO booking fee and is a charge by VRBO no Wyndham. ResortQuest by Wyndham also has a reservation fee which is already included in the rate. All 3rd party vendors will charge a fee to book from their site. We hope you are able to visit again soon.

I feel bad for the owners of this condo
We were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, there was obvious fresh blood all over the tile, rugs, and couch, with a large trail from the master bedroom door to the bathroom. We honestly worried some one from the cleaning company had been hurt in the condo. There was also mold on the secondary bathroom ceiling. These were issues that the local team obviously saw and should’ve been addressed before we checked in.When I reported the blood, I was offered “compensation” but I specifically requested cleaning instead, due to health concerns with bloodborne pathogens, but no one was sent out the entire week we were there even after my daily request. In fact the local team never once reached out to me. Strangely, I received email offering to send someone out at 4:30 PM on a Friday….the 4th of July holiday, right before we checked out, which was too late to be of any help. Obviously the rental company never planned to address this during our stay. If they were not going to address these serious health and cleanliness issues, they could have at least offered to move us to a comparable condo so we did not have to stay in these conditions. The lack of follow-through and accountability made for an uncomfortable and frustrating stay. I genuinely feel sorry for the owners, as Vacasa is ruining their beautiful condo and their reputation by failing to properly clean, maintain, and care for the property. I would love to share my full experience with the owner.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the condition in which you found the property upon arrival and for the frustration this caused during your stay. That is absolutely not the standard we hold for our homes or our guests’ experience, and we understand how concerning this must have been. We want to clarify that the floors have since been professionally cleaned, and at the time of your report, we offered to have our housekeeping team return to re-clean the space. We're sorry that this did not happen in a timely manner during your stay. The delayed response, especially over the holiday period, clearly impacted your comfort and peace of mind, and for that, we are truly sorry. The mold on the bathroom ceiling and any other issues you experienced should have been addressed before your arrival, and we take full responsibility for that oversight. We are actively following up with our local team to ensure that proper procedures are being followed and that this does not happen again. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would be happy to pass your comments along to the homeowner. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re using it to make improvements to both our response process and property care moving forward.

Book with care!
We rent vacation rentals 3-4 times per year and have done so for the last 10 years. This was the worst experience we have ever had, so much so we were stunned by how many things went wrong.
First, if you don’t want to listen to loud construction don’t stay here until all repairs from Hurricane Sally are complete. We signed a waiver stating we understood there could be limited amenities and construction noise. That said, we experienced non stop heavy equipment in operation for two days, including the constant warning ‘beep’ sounds accompanying said equipment. That was tolerable. Once that was done we experienced concrete drilling on each floor, and this was so loud when within 5 floors of this unit that we could not have normal conversation. When on immediately adjacent floors it was so loud the walls vibrated. We had two babies in our party and this was simply not acceptable.
There are no amenities beyond the initial items provided. Bring everything; salt, pepper, coffee filters, trash bags, paper towels, etc.
One toilet backing up often and a serious plunge session identified a disposable razor was the issue.
The dishwasher runs but does not clean. We stayed during the Covid lockdown and ate in every meal, and as a party of 7 we generated a lot of dishes and hand washed everything. This was manageable until the kitchen sink backed up. It took three calls to get a Plummer scheduled and almost 24 hours before they arrived.
The refrigerator door sticks and can be open only one inch and not obvious. When this happens refrigerator runs excessively and why veggies froze in the crisper.
The oven heats unevenly. Be sure to rotate your dish to get an even cook.
Living room chairs are very dirty and need a professional cleaned or replaced.
If you do plan to go during Hurricane repairs know the gym is closed, both elevators have operational issues and beach access may be restricted if beach related repairs are in process. The solution is to exit the gated property and use the public access which is right next door.
Vacasa is the property management company and did all they could to resolve the issues. The property owners have much work to do to make this unit worthy of a decent rating.
