Less than a mile west of the main Gulf Shores Public Beach entrance and rising high above the Gulf of Mexico is Island Royale.

Beach and Gulf Shores was great. However condo needed some help. Mold on ceiling in great room and shower certain in master bath should not exist. Toaster is defective and caused smoke alarm to go off. Fauset in Master bath sink does not work for finding hot water. Should be fixed or replaced. Additionally, Master bath bathtub should be replaced due to condition and safety. Lastly not everyone knows what the P means when placed in front of room number. Thought we were staying on 4TH floor. What a surprise when found out our vision was not defective when looking out balcony and found out we were on floor above 11TH floor. Did not feel safe should electricity go off . Stairs would have a long trip down. You should identify the room height better. Some old people do not like to be at helicopter height. We do not fly very well if needed.

Enjoyed our stay

Condo was nice and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall a very pleasant experience. There was 7 of us and there was plenty of room and plenty of seating.

Relaxing and comfortable

We really enjoyed staying here. It is on the end, and we had a great view from the balcony. Communication with the property manager was great. The location is good and close to everything from places to eat to shopping. We were unable to enjoy the pool because we had so much to do but it looks so relaxing and clean. We highly reccomend this property.

I would be lying if I said this was perfect, but I do need to say that any and all issues that we had were promptly resolved. We enjoyed this location very much and we're overwhelmed by the professionalism and immediate responses when we did have issues. We stayed for six nights and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend to anybody and everyone. We chose to get married on the beach and we could not have picked a better place to stay at for this occasion

I would stay here again it was a great spot with a amazing view! We had some cleanliness issues but were resolved during our stay. We had everything we needed in the condo and plenty of space for everyone!

The pros: Location was perfect! Convenient to food and shopping. Steps from the beach. Condo was clean and had plenty of room for 4 adults and one child. Very nice having a community spot for chairs, boogie boards, and floats to be shared. Cons: Online listing and reviews did not mention the cosmetic attention this unit needed. Rusted shower curtain rod, chipped bathtubs, peeling paint, scuffs and knicks on walls, broken patio door lock, and bunkbeds so wobbly my child didn’t feel safe climbing on the top bunk.
