How was comfortable and roomy. Only dislike was we wished the outside shower worked to help elevate sand in the house. Other than that it was fine.

Great House, But a Few Simple Things Could Make It Fantastic

First of all, the house and location are great- 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom just a block from the beach with two covered vehicle spaces. We were there for a beach volleyball tournament, which was just a 10-12 minute walk. Covered front and back porches were great places for a morning cup of coffee or to watch a passing rain shower. The only downsides were that 1) the unit could have been cleaner (hair in the showers and on the linens) and 2) a lack of communication from the hosting company. Vacasa reached out to inquire about cleanliness with a rating scale a few hours after check in. At that time, we had not yet noticed the master shower had hair in it nor had we pulled back any covers to reveal stained linen and hair in the sheets on a downstairs bed, so we gave it a clean rating. After discovering these a few hours later, we changed the rating and a Vacasa team member reached out immediately indicating that a local person would be in contact the following morning. No one ever did reach out throughout our stay, and we simply dealt with the issues. Also just a note, the kitchen, while having basic necessities for cooking, does not have any other items you may expect from staying at other VRBO properties, like salt/pepper, extra paper towels, or trash bags. The listing didn’t say that they did have these items, but this is just something that we would’ve like to read on a review so we were better prepared. All in all, it’s a great house in a great location!
