Great location and beautiful condo

Great location. Great view. Even though the beach was crowded (4th of July week so it’s expected) the pool never felt crowded. Large pool. Very comfortable and roomy condo. Well stocked kitchen. Would stay here again My only negative is there were several dishes in the cabinet that had not been washed. Really the fault of the previous renter but wish housekeeping had done a check.

I already advised that our room was not cleaned from last guests but it was promptly fixed after I called someone One of my friends left with a few bites. Have no idea what they were from. She slept in the master bedroom. Thought I would advise so you could check it out

Feeling Grateful

We loved our time in White Caps 1405! The view from the large balcony was so lovely, with dolphins each morning. The property was nice and it just felt like such a nice family atmosphere, especially during the 4th of July beach party where everyone enjoyed fireworks all up and down the beach. So fun! The showers were great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the seating and large tv in the family room area were perfect for our group of 6 young (and old) adults. The elevator broke during our stay but was fixed promptly. The beach was clean and the people working to take care of the umbrella/chair rental take their job very seriously. There were some things broken/ pictures down and not replaced in the condo but nothing that affected our stay. Enjoy!

Perfect for our Family

We rented this place for 2 weeks to host family and friends. Great location and had everything we needed. Our grandchildren ages ranged from 6 months to 6 years and this place had a high chair, a booster chair, beach toys, chairs and blanket. Which fantastic and made packing so much easier. There were puzzles and cards and books. This place had everything we needed. The kitchen had a std coffee pot and a keurig. Plenty of towels and blankets. Each room had a ceiling fan and plenty of lighting. Convenient location to restaurants and groceries. White Caps has a large, beautiful outdoor pool and a kiddie pool. It also has an indoor pool and hot tub and a small exercise room. Some items to note - parking is restricted to two cars. We did not see a notice regarding quiet hours and the people above us were noisy. There are fantastic biking trails in Orange Beach but White Caps does not have a place to store/lock bikes. Overall, only minor inconveniences compared to the many benefits.

Pros and cons

The living room furniture was comfy and actually enough seating where everyone in the group had a nice place to Relax. The master bath was very nice and the shower does not disappoint! However, the cleanliness of the bedding was disappointing. I was impressed by the immediate contact when we arrived asking if everything was to our satisfaction. They addressed the issues immediately, but since it was so late.. it was agreed to change out things the next day. So, it was nice they were quick to respond, but disappointing it needed to be done. It’s kind of gross sleeping with blankets that are soiled and obviously not washed. A bandaid was found inside one of the unfolded blankets stuffed into the closet. The cabinets were over stocked with dishes, not leaving any space for food. And be prepared, zero condiments of any kind. Which I understand is common in many rentals.. just giving a heads up. Including empty salt and pepper shakers. Ac worked well and pool and beach area is very nice. There is a company on the beach that has double chair and umbrella rental -$40 a day.. although there are some chairs on balcony to use. However we purchased our own beach toys. I gave it 3 stars mainly for the bedding, as I feel this is an important issue to slack on. Oh. And it smelled really musty.
