We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back! Such easy access to the beach the town just everything! Beautiful condo comfortable beds has everything you need. Highly recommend recommended.
Property was clean and host communication was excellent. We cooked a few meals and kitchen is nicely stocked with cookware and dishes. The Palms complex is a smaller size which also meant the beach was not crowded, which was a nice bonus.
Ocean view was great! Staff was very friendly! The overall facility was very clean. It was clear the staff took pride in their work!! The location was great for our needs.
From beginning to end, the process was simple and seamless…exactly what we needed. The unit was clean and welcoming. Exceptional communication with hosts. We had no issues and we’ll definitely return.
The balcony was the best part! The size and type of furniture made it our favorite place to spend time when not on the beach. The location and layout of the condo were great! It was clean. The kitchen cabinets were in terrible shape. It looks as though they have been wet and the “wood” is swollen on the edges without any paint covering them. The picture on the VRBO site does not show the amount of damage. In looking back at them, I can see a little bit of it, but it’s far from something you would notice in how the pics are made. We were a bit shocked when we walked in and saw how terrible they looked. The area at the bottom of the cabinet by the toilet in the master was rotted and behind the toilet needs repair. The guest shower had a large rust stain. The communication and ease of check in and out was excellent. With a some work on these issues, this condo could be excellent!
The condo itself was great! Huge rooms, clean, great location. Beds comfy, plenty of towels. Balcony was excellent for sitting outside, people watching and watching for dolphins. The problem was the communication with Alabama Getaways. First off we arrive at condo and there are 2 buildings East and West and we have no idea which one we were in cause we were never told. A nice security guard saw us wandering around and came to help telling us where our unit was located. We saw pink parking passes in everyone's windshields. We had been told nothing about where to get those so security guard told us they might be in unit which they were. In February I asked which beach chair rental Co serviced this unit. I was told Perdido. I reserve chairs and umbrella. Go down on Sunday, no set up. Call perdido and they don't service the Palms and my chairs were set up somewhere else. Luckily they refunded me and told me who did service it. But we lost that beach day. I messaged to tell them so they would know and all I got was a sorry. They should have known the answer. Other than that it was a great stay.
We were very happy w our stay at The Palms unit #414! The property was exactly as described, was stocked w basic essentials from extra clean linens & pillows, kitchenware & appliances, to washer & dryer, etc., and was ready at checkin time. We appreciated that the Palms did not seem as busy/crowded as other surrounding properties - both at the condo amenities and the beach! We did go in mid-August so less busy time of year, but still seemed less crowded than others close-by. The location was great & close to anything in town you may need. The beach location is very close to a pier, which I understand some guests may not prefer, but it was fine for us. The beach chair rental company employees were outstanding. The Palms outdoor pool & our unit's large balcony were so nice to use throughout our stay. Also - the hosts for this unit were fantastic! Very thorough & great communication. Replied quickly & effectively. The few staff we met in person were also kind & helpful. Only recommendations we'd make are maybe adding a smart tv in living or main bedroom, as well as maybe upgrading the shower heads. We would absolutely stay here again & hope that we can do so sooner than later! Thanks for helping make our vacation as great as it was!
Our Stay at The Palms 414 was one of the best beach experiences we have had. This condo was immaculate and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The rooms are very spacious, the decor is very soothing and up to date. Communication with the property owners was excellent. We will absolutely be returning to this condo.
This property is super clean, very spacious and in a wonderful location. Open the patio doors and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Would definitely book again!
Condo was clean, kitchen was well stocked with cookware/utensils. Probably could use a new mattress in the main bedroom. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we had a great time!
We enjoyed our stay, dolphins to watch right off the balcony each morning and evening. No wait on the elevator and great beach and pool access. Our family used the tennis court and volleyball net daily.
Beautifully decorated, relaxing and inviting as soon as we walked in. Lovely view of the ocean. Easy walk to the beach. Loved the lazy river! Fully stocked kitchen. Exactly as advertised. Friendly and polite staff. Highly recommend and would come again.
Our stay was disappointing overall. While the condo has a large balcony with a beautiful view, the condition of the unit did not match what was shown in the listing photos. The kitchen cabinets were damaged, the refrigerator did not maintain a consistent temperature, and the ice dispenser would only dispense crushed ice even when cubed ice was selected. The oven also took an unusually long time to cook food. The bathrooms were another concern. There was visible damage in both bathrooms, along with rust staining in the second bathroom. The main shower would also benefit from tub treads or a safety grab bar, as it felt like a safety issue that should be addressed. The beds in both bedrooms were uncomfortable, which made getting a good night’s sleep difficult.I did bring these issues to the host’s attention. They were polite and nice about it, but the response felt very scripted and didn’t give me confidence that the problems would actually be addressed. What concerns me most is that a previous review appears to mention some of these same issues. If these problems were already brought to the host’s attention, why have they still not been addressed? The listing photos also do not accurately reflect the current condition of the kitchen and bathrooms. Guests should be able to see what they are actually booking. The condo has a great location/view, but the property needs some significant maintenance and updating. Cannot confidently recommend.
This was our first time in Orange Beach and enjoyed our time to rest and relax. This condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. All common areas were very well maintained. All of the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the balcony seating area and table. The condo itself is dated and could use a serious upgrade.
