The pool is in working order before arrival. When we arrived for Thanksgiving week with 6 kids the pool was green and not in working order. We booked this house because of the pool and promised the kids a fun heated pool. This was obviously a huge disappointment. No communications that the pool was out of service. Was very disappointed.

Beautiful home and great location

The house was great and so peaceful right off the ocean. We loved it so much and can’t wait to go back. My only complaint is the pool felt a little cool when we first arrived and we called and no one ever came to fix it.

This was a perfect location and home. The home was perfect for 13 people it was roomie and relaxing. The pool was an added bonus that we really enjoyed.

Great property. House was clean and the set up was nice for our family. Location is amazing. Also property management was great. Example.. ..We ran out of propane and they were there the next day to refill it. Also we noticed a spindle broken on deck and they fixed immediately. Only complaint would be for the pool to be cleaner but nothing crazy we definitely used it everyday. Would come here again!

The house was perfect, really the whole island was fantastic. I’ve never been before. And I really enjoyed the ceiling fans. They were great.

Good but not great Dauphin Island home

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Dauphin Island and this home is good but the overall experience has room for improvement. Good:- Location is fantastic. 50 yards from the water line.- The home's fixtures and decorations overall are good, but require maintenance. - The home's grill was in good condition and propane was full. Very convenient for our grilling needs. - The pool is a great option for beach breaks or on the bad weather days. - Check-in and Check-out processes were simple. - Smart tvs in every room were convenient on bad weather days or in the evening when trying to wind down. Bad:- Communication with host was below average overall. We could only get ahold of "corporate" Vacasa and not somebody local to fix issues we found. This may be indicative of Vacasa being a big company and not a local business.- Cleanliness upon check-in was good at first glance, but we found a used Zyn container and a yogurt squeeze tube in the kitchen. - Multiple maintenance items upon check-in. One room was missing the AC vent in their ceiling. It was just a hole. Each bathroom had at least one fixture falling off the wall. - Pool got dirty quickly and didn't seem to have any cleaning mechanism. Also seemed to leak as water level dropped each day.- Internet is abysmal. I know you don't go to the beach for internet but on bad weather days it helps. Speeds were 5-8 Mbps.This house is too new to have so many issues. Has potential though!
